Luckily, I am my own boss. When I am working, I am usually not free enough to surf for deals. But, if I wanted to, I could.

tonite when i am in the forums, then click the SD logo to check the front page, it times out. The link is http:\\slickdeals.net. if i add the www and type it in the URL, it works fine

..and that's the ones I know so far....are there more? You guys just need to make a .edu version..that'll really bypass all those nasty filters/firewalls we have. :sadwalk:

No, they don't.
slickdeals.net = 69.16.137.58
www.slickdeals.net = 69.16.154.158
This problem extends to every product link I click on too :(
Is this an issue with my local machine, my ISP, or something else?
*EDIT* SOLVED - I had an entry in my hosts file for the 137 address.
