Make sure to check the store, even if they show OOS, because I found one of the bats that said it was OOS at my store online. When I went to pick up my 2 bags and 2 sets of balls, I also found these in the clearance area in the baseball isle.

it is my first year on SD and on this Kmart thread which i love the most.

I got lots of toys few months ago when they were 40 dollar toys for 3.99, i read it somewhere in the thread that Kmart have this kind of insane sale twice a year,

One that i got deals on was in August, is another one coming some time soon ? and should i expect the same kind of deals ?

Womens Hanes 3 pack crew Tees (comfort soft tops) were marked 5.99 but ringing up .99 (bought these for someone in a Nursing Home- UPC 07533885275)
Girls character underwear was also marked higher, but rang up .50 (think we got Dora or Disney) size 6T

If I remember correctly it's usually 1 week at 50% unless it would fall on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday...then it would be 1 week plus X number of days until the first Monday after a weekend. Then two weeks at 75% off. Then 90% off for one or two weeks before being pulled from the shelves. So this year it should go 75% off Monday, January 2nd...and then 90% off Monday, January 16th. Don't quote me on this, but from past experience I believe this should be somewhat reliable.

There are lots of holiday clearance items at half-price still in their regular sections, marked "sale" instead of "clearance." Look for signs that list the sale price in large print and original price in small print. I found French's onion rings @ 1.64 ... but just checked my receipt and they rang up full price -- there's another stop I have to make on my way out of town tomorrow! :ranting:

Ziploc containers were on an endcap in the regular section with bags. Containers ("limited edition") were half-price, but bags were not. There were also some holiday foam plates -- Hefty? -- on the next endcap @ 50% off, next to some snowflake plates (store brand) not marked down.

Also clothing clearance: Take another 40% off clearance prices. And 60% off a lot of other clothing items; watch for signs (and watch the register)! Got a long-sleeve T for 4.79 and a tank top for 2.39. Women's Hanes sweats are 40% off = 5.99 (solid color pants and tops).

All the Glade, candy, etc. was consolidated into the Christmas area near the garden center at my SuperK, marked 50% off. I picked up some Bambi Christmas cards @ 2.99, plus candy, Applets & Cotlets and a cocktail shaker for a New Year's party.

I wasn't trying to buy the one that you reload. I was getting the $200 one with the $6.95 fee. So it rings up as $206.95 - it just won't let you pay with gift cards. Target does and Office Max does though...
Kmart and Walmart must just program their registers different.

Yes, mine was 75% today. I got there when they opened and they were hanging the signs up. Candy was not included in this. It remained at 50%.

I got the tree that I wanted! It was normally $279.99 and I paid $69.99. I also got a tablecloth, a lighted bow and some clips to hang your lights with.


For the extra 50% on the toys I didn't find all that much. They had Zhu Zhu puppies marked $5 and some of the sets were $5 and $4, then they would be half of that. I didn't know anyone to give them to though, so I didn't buy them.

Two possibilities as to why:

Sometimes the higher volume Kmart stores/districts sometimes linger at 50 and 75 longer than the rest.
Sometimes the stores have to "activate" the 75% off in their computers before prices will reflect the 75%, so maybe your store didn't activate the 75% yet.

I've always received overage at KMart. Like the Breathe Right strips that just expired gave $1.50/1 although the item was .99

I think it is for any Huggies. I grabbed a little tearpad paper under a sign listing the deal yesterday and it listed all the participating brands and it just listed Huggies so I am assuming that any Huggies product will work :)

The whole calendar acts as an ad for their layaway --- if (like my store) they have the layaway counter on another floor, far, far away from customer service -- maybe they have the calendars with the layaway dept. Mine were at customer service. I just make it a practice now to ask (at slow times) at customer service if they got any "coupon booklets".

found a lot of different items actually Marked 90% off. Tonight it was a zipper case that
contained volleyball and badminton sets that were originally $24.99 and clearance marked

I found that clearance housewares seems to be an extra 30% off. Bought some lamps on Sunday. There was a really nice scale for $9 but I didn't buy it. It's a adventure hunt in there if you are up to the challenge.

I said to heck with that. and transferred my prescriptions to Target with two Cats that gave 10.00 gift cards with each transferred prescriptions. Walgreen Co. said Monday it plans to buy the prescription files and inventory from 33 Kmart pharmacies in 16 states.

The acquistion includes files from soon-to-be shuttered stores in St. John, 9550 Wicker Ave., and Portage, 6050 U.S. 6. After the purchase is complete, Walgreens will transfer the files to its nearby pharmacies. The files will be transferred to Walgreens at 9280 Wicker Ave. in St. John and 5995 U.S. 6 in Portage.

Patients whose prescription files are being transferred and who have had a prescription filled in the last two years will be notified by letter once the deal has been completed next month, the company said.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Deerfield, Ill.-based company operates 7,818 drugstores in 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

I think you can use them at Sears, as I used the ones accrued at Sears in Kmart. If not, use their online store (though it won't work with 3rd party sellers)

I hope it works out for you! When we bought a new stove at Dears, we got points and I ended up redeeming them online through Kmart. You just have to link your rewards card with your online account. It was fairly painless. If you're not sure how to go about it in-store, maybe use the Sears site and just opt to pick it up, rather than have them ship it. That way you don't have to deal with confused sales people.

Thank you. I know they like to move out the winter sporting goods this time of year, (the indoor basketball hoops and air hockey games), to make room for the patio furniture! I did get some 90% off a couple years ago on those big games!

Haha! Ya, I went to the one in Tosa on Hwy 100. They did still have quite a few Cover Girl lip glosses left for $1.44 ea. (great paired with the $2.50/2 coupon.) Also, I went to the one in Hartford a few days ago...They really didn't have a whole lot left to choose from... Hope that helps! :)

They ARE doubling coupons up to $1 for the first 5 coupons. I did several transactions and each time my coupons doubled.

The P&G spend 30 get 10 is good BUT be warned that the $10 coupon is not valid until 3-11 and is good for 1 week. So, no rolling this time around.

If you check the KMart website tomorrow and log in with your Shop Your Way Rewards number, you should be able to view next week's ad under future offers--click local Kmart ad, then look to the right. Every single time I go to Kmart to coupon something goes wrong. You have to explain every little thing to them in detail because their managers and cashiers are absolutely clueless. I definitely feel your pain. A transaction that should take a minute or 2 winds up taking 30 minutes. I had this same problem last time P&G had the B1G1 Swiffer refill coupon. The manager ended up writing me a $10 coupon out and I went back in to spend it immediately while that manager was still there.

Found a rebate form in H&B (not with diapers): Buy $100 worth of Huggies diapers and wipes, get a $20 Kmart GC. Multiple receipts, buy by 4/30, mail by 5/30. They are 3"x5" vertical on a TP, not easy to spot.

I had 3 $10 off wyb $10 from P&G that expired today. Fought my sump pump all day - but checked and rechecked the store locator and confirmed that Kmart is open until 9 PM. I got there at 7:50 only to find that they closed in 10 minutes. Had a nasty cashier - and 3 other people watching me as I checked out - with the deals I threw together in a couple of minutes.

Failure # 1 - I told her my phone number for my SYWR card. She said she wouldn't enter it until the end.

Bought 2 Angel Soft @ $8.99 (I thought they were $10 like the sign said).
Bought 2 Soft Scrub Total @ $3 each - They rang up at $3
Bought 4 Renuzits @ $1 (I thought I would be at $30 - re: the Angel Soft)

I think that maybe the $10 P&G cancelled out the 2.50 you were expecting as I didn't get the $5 (or bonus points) from purchasing the John Frieda products today and I used the $10 P&G.

The return will be horrendous, just don't say to many words, it may confuse them even more. The $10 crt you use will be deducted from every item you return. A quick idea for next time, put your cats or crt on a giftcard. For example, if your cat/crt is for $10, buy $10 worth of items that will be free after coupons and purchase the giftcard in the same transaction.

The week before, I had a transaction with the P&G where I didn't get my CRT. The cashier had forgot to enter my card number. (Or phone number actually...) I immediately went to CS to return / rebuy. I couldn't convince them that the coupons didn't matter because if they gave me back cash, I was going to use ALL the cash to rebuy the exact same thing right then and there. The manager didn't think I would get the CRT if I used coupons - so we had to trot back to the register, void each item for the whole transaction one by one, void the coupons one by one, try for 10 minutes to refund the amount to my gift card - so I could turn around and rebuy the same thing, use coupons, and get the CRT.

On the next 2 orders, if the P&Gs are store coupons instead of MQs (like an RR), I would agree that's what stopped the next one from printing.

Then I would try (for what it's worth) to contact a DM or customer service with a list a mile long. What is the point of a website with inaccurate info for something as simple as hours? Why should you have to rush because of it? Why should you be penalized for inaccurate price signs?

You aren't missing anything yet. Our last one is closing; I went in Saturday just to check it out and everything is only 10-30% off their inflated shelf prices. A 6' folding table was regularly $60, clearance $45. Walmart sells them for $38.88 every day. The cheapest winter coats were $17.xx (and some were much higher), regularly $25-30. It's already in the 80's here...coats will have to go much cheaper if they expect to sell them. Groceries and HBA were 20% off, which just brings them closer to Walmart's shelf price.
After seeing prices like that, I didn't bother staying to hunt any hidden gems. There might be some, but I wouldn't expect much.

Cashier said coupons didn't double because my order was under $15 AFTER coupons. (I think it is because she wouldn't use my SYWR card until after the coupons were scanned).

Failure #2 -

I told her there is a reason that KMart is not doing well - and they might want to consider that.....

While I was viewing the newspaper ad online, I received a survey request about what I thought about the Kmart ad online. :evillaf: I've looked at 5 unbought (before purchase) Sunday papers and 0 had the Kmart ad in it.

Have you tried to view the newspaper version on their ad? Some products are hyperlinked to bring up larger views when you hover, but most are not. Some of the items I was interested in didn't have the extra hyperlink and there is no way to see it better (already on single page view) and no way to zoom.

Let's just say that the survey company found out I'm not fond of Kmart's newspaper ad online.

I would go back on the day shift to do the return/rebuy or return for credit, whichever. Often the day manager and the night manager have very different attitudes. (At my 24-hour SuperK, the night people are fantastic. Some of them know me by name -- they've had to fix Catalina or register problems for me so often!)

I would also give a call to corporate and explain how offended I was by the lack of a customer-service outlook, and especially about the nasty cashier who would not enter your card number. That has got to be contrary to store policy.

Do you not have an actual card to scan? If not, I'd spend down any balance and start a new card. They say they can transfer your SYWR balance, but it's Kmart, so YMMV. :coverlaf:

I'm not sure. The cashier even warned me that I might not be able to use all of them, so I grabbed a candy bar thinking I would need another item, but they all went through fine. I wasn't paying much attention to how she was entering the coupons but I "think" when the screen came up to select the products to attach to the coupons she only attached one ziploc item to the $1/2 coupon and maybe that's why, Again, this is just a guess because I am not even sure if the register will allow the $1/2 to only be attached to one product?!?

Heads up for IPS... on couponnetwork.com, you can print .60/1 ziploc bags (slightly better deal than using the $1/2 MQ) and a .40/1 Glade oil holder. PLEASE NOTE...on one computer i printed two of the .60/1 ziploc Qs. On another computer, i noticed that you can click to watch a video about Ziploc that upgrades it to .70/1...BUT I was only able to print one. so it may be better to not watch the video and stick with two .60/1

That's what it seems. I haven't personally done the deal yet. I usually get a list of these OYNO promos from my grocery store which includes the UPCs. I haven't received the most current list yet but when I get it I can check it out.

Has anyone tried the "perfect portions" ziploc bags? They appear to be sized for one chicken breast, etc and you then put the portions into a larger bag (per their instructions) before freezing. 75 count box but no sign on it. I wouldn't mind something like that, if it actually works for the CAT deal.

Also, did anyone get the zipper bags or just the double lock ones. They only had signs under the double lock today.

I hit K today for the first time in ages. I did 3 transactions.
First:

Came to 16.54 plus tax and I used SYWR credit for all but the tax. The cashier had to manually input all the coupons as his register didn't do the new barcodes. As a result, Tax was result by the full $10 in coupons.
Received $5, 3 (glade) & 2 (ziploc)

I then did 1 of the glade & scott tp (5.99). Had to throw in a lollipop to be able to use the $5 OYNO from earlier trans. Ended up paying .45 OOP and got back the $5 and 3

Last was just 4 ziploc. Used 2 $1/2, $2 and $5 from prior orders and owed tax only.

My cost (including SYWR credit) was $17.99. I will submit for $9.99 rebate and I have $12 in Cats left so it was a $4 MM.

I needed the ziplocs and got the last glades in the store. I did the first order as I did because I was not sure I'd like the Scott TP and didn't want to buy more than 1 before I tried it and I figured the $3 cat on 4 glade was MM itself so I used them to help get me to $25 for doubling. I wanted the make sure the Glade were in an order with OOP in case I got overage, as I did.

I haven't printed it yet. My Niece picked up the actual grocery flyers with the coupon in it for me. She picked up 20 of the flyers so I haven't had a need to print it. Unfortunately, I bet I can predict what they will say since I have spent WAYYYYYY too much time on the phone with them over this exact same issue (not receiving bonus points on a promotion). They will say it is because you used coupons and there is nothing they can do about it :( It is like talking to a brink wall. I will say that no one on any of the sites i go to has received the bonus points for biore/Jergens and SYWR has told them all the same thing----if you use coupons, you don't get points. ARRGGHH!

Not positive if this is the same, but I added a $.25 candy at the register and was able to use the $3 Glade Cat without buying any glade, so I would think Ziploc is the same. Also wouldn't see any reason why it would prevent another Cat from printing, it's just a coupon.

I think because of the coding on the b2g1 (coded as a b2g1) the register wouldn't allow it. I'd like to know though since i have a full tearpad of it. I just did:

I just got back from Kmart. I did 2 transactions of the following:
I purchased 20 Powerade 32oz. The register charged me $20, but took off $5 at the end of the transaction. I also used the $5 MQ that I linked above. So I got 20 (32oz) for $10.(.50 ea) I also was happy to finally use my Cesar BOGO MQ's. I got 10 Cesar $.75 ea. for FREE with the BOGO MQ. I also got 4 Ziplocs and FREE Chex. Received the $5 & $2 cat. I also did 1 transaction with only 3 Ziploc MQ's & 2 BOGO Cesar MQ's. My Son is set for his spring break with 60 Powerades, my dogs are set with Cesar with 24 for Free, and I have 8 Ziplocs and 3 bags of Chex and still have 2 $2 cats to use. I WILL go back tomorrow for some more Powerade (most expire in August 2012) and try your suggestion!!! (my son & his friends drink a lot of it)

Can you post when you go to let us know if you bought 15 & used the q & both took off or if it didn't allow it & you had to buy 20 like you did yesterday? TIA :)

do you think it would work if I add a small filler like stlcardinals70 suggested, or would using the 2$ cat prevent another one from printing? TIA oh and I have several computers, i dont want people to think I make copies
Not positive if this is the same, but I added a $.25 candy at the register and was able to use the $3 Glade Cat without buying any glade, so I would think Ziploc is the same. Also wouldn't see any reason why it would prevent another Cat from printing, it's just a coupon.

I did a similar transaction this morning. I had already gotten the Ziploc and Glade Qs from a previous deal, so here's what I did...

4 x Ziploc @ 2.50 = $10
4 x Glade Warmer @ 1.19 = $4.78
1 x Wrigley's gum pack @ .30
SUBTOTAL $15.08
- $1/2 Ziploc MQ x2 = -$2
- $1.50/1 Glade Warmer MQ x4 = -$6
- $2 Ziploc Cat
- $5 KMart Ziploc Cat
TOTAL .08 + tax
got back $5, $3, $2, and still have $3 Glade from previous transaction

I'm trying to figure out any deals to include either the Clorox etc. deal (spend $9 get $2.50 back) or Bountry etc. deal (spend $20, get $5 OR spend $30, get $10). I don't see any Qs to really make it worth it, though, even if five of them are doubled. (especially when I have no interest in that TP...I'm a snob for Charmin) :lol: that second deal runs for a couple more weeks, though, so maybe it will be a better deal later.

YES It Worked...Bought 15 and register took off $5 and my coupon took off $5. :woot:
I got 10 more bogo Cesar free and chex free and only paid .33 ea for 32 oz Powerade. ($5 for 15 Powerades---AWESOME!!)
I used 2 $2 cats too! Bahahaha
