Yes, it is nationwide. Has been going on since Wednesday at my one Kmart and went to 3 other ones today. Got almost all the same deals at each. Some had more than others. There are also more deals than these.

I have been able to use the $5/20 toy, cat, and the 10/100 or 5/50 grocery that's in the Super K ad. In the past the printables from the coupon center have worked also. But avoid the regular ongoing 5/50.

Now, how has anyone used a Unilever Cat with a P&G cat?
Is the P&G cat a MFQ or a store Q? I never got any, so I don't know.

Per the language in the attachment to the email announcement, first five coupons will be doubled. Hence, you can use others or they wouldn't be the "first", would they? I have to explain this to them every time too when they tell me only 5 coupons. I always point out that only 5 are doubled, but others are usable.

Exact language is:
You must present your Shop Your Way Rewards Member number at time of purchase and coupon redemption. Limited to 5 coupons per customer, per day. Only first 5 coupons will be doubled. Please see store associate for details. Kmart reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time.

Thanks for everyone who listed the clearance toy deals! I picked up the Eye Clops for $2.49 tonight, the Just Kids bilingual computer was $2 at my store, the Just Kids Fun Pod for $2, and a Just Kids keyboard for $5.50. DS also got a solar powered R/C car for $9.50.

We have had a ball with the EyeClops! It really magnifies well. Definitely worth the $2.49. Needed to have picked up a few more for Toys For Tots. Anybody know if they will do the 50% off again soon?

They've been running it maybe once every 6 weeks or so.... So not immediately, but yes, probably at some point in the near future.

IMHO, next to go will be all the summer clothes and other merch.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

It's one of the re-done, "better" (:rolleyes:) Big K's. In part of the electronics section, they have two sets of three computers set up w/free Internet access & free printing. However, they often go down w/no ability, apparently, to fix them in-house. :dontknow:

But I had just been there the day before for the toy clearance and knew the printers should be working, so I stopped by when I learned about the new TQs. :evillaf:

I can definitely see this offer being discontinued if people abuse it (and long before my kids' Winter birthdays... :( )

If Kmart were *smart* about these coupons, they'd send unique, one-time use coupons (like what Schlotszky's uses for their birthday coupons - once the link is opened, you cannot get open the page again).

It was during the additional 50% off clearance toys sale running last week. Most likely, this week, it would scan for $11.

The smaller sets were on clearance, too.

If you search back a few pages, several posters had worked on compiling a list of the clearance toys during the additional 50% off. There was also a link to another site listing the deals.

Even w/o the additional 50%, there would still be some decent deals, especially combining the $4.99 toys w/the new $5/5 toys.

I don't know if I ever saw it mentioned, but here were a couple of my clearance toy finds from last week (I've listed what should be the "current" clearance price w/o the additional 50% off):

Bummer! I knew it was sometime in July or August that they ran the extra 50% off. I thought they did it in January as well but I didn't notice it at all this year so my "stock" is very slim.

Went to my KMart since I missed the additional 50% off toys ... just to see what they had left. TONS of toys. I mean 2 full rows with each side (so 4 total) full of toys on clearance. And they were getting new stock on as I was walking around.

Apparently no one in my area did the additional 50% off or they just emptied all their shelves because there are tons of toys.

Please, please let there be another 50% off so I can RUN to KMart and stock up :D

The poor confused cashier couldn't understand why my $5.30 pre-Q total went down to $0 after scanning the $5 KQ. :lol: I tried to explain the difference btw a KQ reducing the taxable purchase amount and a MFQ simply reducing the after-tax total, but I think he just got more confused. :lmao:

But, just from memory, there's at least three JFK toys that are completely, totally, absolutely free after KQ:

Train set (engine & one car)
Set of sea-life bath toys (in reusable plastic pouch)
Set of two erasable drawing boards (generic Etch-A-Sketch; one big & one little)

Granted, these toys are pretty cheap and flimsy. I grabbed the train set for my 2.5-year old (who's a choo-choo freak). It only lasted a few days before the top of the train popped off the plastic. The coupon does not say anything about kids only. The only restriction that I saw was limit one per transaction, can't be used with any other coupons, blah blah (just like the 5/50)

I had 3 tearpad MFQs for $1/2 Kraft Easy Mac Cups. They're on sale at K for $1 this week, so I figured free AC. But it gets better. :lol: Near the bottom of the receipt (after the MFQs, but before the final total), under my "Birthday Bucks" K savings was another listing for "Kraft savings ... - $3" :woot:

So K paid me $3 to take the cups. Even w/o any MFQs, they're only $0.50 each.

I got the 25 Post-It Super Sticky Notes and went to pay for them. The cashier scanned all 25 Notes, but when she saw my stack of coupons she immediately went into panic mode. She asked her fellow cashiers about what to do and she tried to say that I could only use 1 coupon per purchase as stated on the coupon (I calmly explained to her about the difference between "purchase" and "transaction" and that I could indeed use all 25 at once). Finally she said that I would have to go check out at the customer service desk.

At the CS desk, the supervisor was very nice and understanding and blamed the cashier for not even trying to scan the coupons. He scanned all the Notes and then all the coupons and the total came to $2.22 all in tax. However, when he hit total, no $8 coupon printed out. I asked him about that and he said that it may be because why Rewards Card was not registered yet or something. I was tempted to return everything right then and there, but since he was such a nice guy about all this I decided to just keep the Post-Its (it was still a very good deal, after all).

The customer service desk does NOT have a CAT machine. You NEED to use your Rewards card to get the CAT.
Just looked at a receipt and saw that my card wasn't scanned BUT i DID get the $8/8, so YMMV w/o using your card.

Also, I am buying up the Hot Wheels/Matchbox gift sets, they are $5 even. I don't see this coupon sticking around at my stores for long, they tend to make up their own rules, and I am NOT overdoing it.

Besides the 'excludes clearance' notation, it also says 'items from stationery dept excluded'. Those are usually found in the stationery dept.

One store this past weekend the Patty O'furniture was 75% off, the next one was still at 50.

Same with the pool toys, 50% off at one store, 30% off at another!

Have a few Kmarts in our area and my experience is like a few others. They seem to have their own schedules as to when some of the clearance stuff markdowns change, unless it's specifically stated in an add.

I had a similar thing happen a few weeks ago. I filled out the survey on the bottom of my receipt and sent an additional email to corporate. I got a call from corporate, from the store manager and from the district manager. Surprise, surprise... they do take IPs and the cashier was misinformed. I was pissed and read them the riot act because this is the 2nd time this has happened at this store and it is a waste of my time to go in there if they are going to continue with these shenanigans. I've been there since our conversations and let's just say it appears the problem is fixed for now. I would call or email corporate if I were you.

They are CSP here as well. DS is a little old for those sets so I didn't bother with them. I did find someone with a gun for my CSP Spongebob Centrums and they told me $3.50 are exchanging looks between them. You never know with a CSP. I had a $1 coupon-too bad that wasn't doubled. I walked into KMart and saw a frenzy going on at a rack they had brought to the front for clearance. They were selling Vibes Adult Inline Skates for $4.31. One guy had as many as he could get in his cart plus what he coul steady on top. Needless to say, I did not get any.

But......
I went to another store to see if maybe they were doing the same thing but the only clearance they had in the front of the stores was clothes. So I went to the Sports section to take a look and saw 5 boxes I recognized. I put a couple in my cart and went to scan them. One scanned at $4.31 and the other scanned at $32. I looked and saw they had different UPC codes. I went back to check the others and found another one for $4.31.

So, there are probably more $4.31 skates out there sitting on the shelf with the $32 ones.

The box is gray, black and white.
Says Adult in left top corner in white, VIBES in red on top right corner.
The $4.31 skates have a red seam by the laces. The ones that are not $4.31 have yellow.

The KMart in Waterbury, CT has a whole shelf of these. I grabbed one of each and tried to scan them. Neither came up in the system. I took them to the register and the cashier couldn't get them to scan, so she talked to the manager and he gave me them for $1.00 each.

Not complaining....much because I had a ton of $8/8 CATS to use, BUT I was only able to get them for $3.50 a piece. I only bought one of each set. They are now programmed at this one store to ring up as $7.99 each.

A kind manager was in the toy aisle helping me today and was able to enter the prices into the scan gun for me so it scanned at check out. 2.49 for the "construct a buzz" and 1.99 for "woody and buzz to the rescue". It scanned that price at the register, so maybe it's entered in all Kmarts now?

I bought the following:
2 Mens brieft 7+1 at $7.49 each
2 Womens bikinis at $6.99 each
1 7 packs socks at $5.99

Didn't think about the sale price per jencancan post. I was in the hurry.
This AM. Went to a different Kmart, asked to see their last week ad. The CS was helpful at first, flipped through the binder and we found the page with Fruit of the Looms Mens briefs for $4.88. But then when I told her I paid $7.49 for them, she said the ad actually had on their the one that were on sale regular price at $6.99, so she won't be able to do the price adjustment for me :(. I told her the store I bought it from is within the city and they always sell things higher. Nope can't do anything about it. I knew they were the exact things I bought.
What should I do now. I don't know if the store where I bought these have last week ad and their customer service is terrible. I once paid regular price for things that were suppose to be on sale and weren't at that store and they weren't helpful about ringing them accordingly to the ad. Not to even talking about bringing back a receipt. And I must say that I cut all the UPC out and sent in for the rebate. :(

I have the ad!!!!!!!! My recycling goes out today and I just grabbed it out of the bin. Send me a PM with your addy and I'll mail it to you. No trade or stamp necessary. Uh, I think it's against the law to advertise one price and charge you something else. But I bet those laws vary by state.

Did you make a copy of your receipt before you mailed in the rebate?

I think I'd bring in the receipt, the ad (which I will send you), the products (even if you've taken them out of the package).

At the bare min, you're gonna need your receipt (or a copy of it - you can explain that you used the orginial for the MIR).

At Target, I think they can look up what you bought if you paid by a credit card. Maybe they can do that at Kmart?

My advice would be to keep your cool at Kmart (especially if you planning on shopping there in the future).

If the store can't help, call customer service or the District Manager.

I have the ad!!!!!!!! My recycling goes out today and I just grabbed it out of the bin. Send me a PM with your addy and I'll mail it to you. No trade or stamp necessary. Uh, I think it's against the law to advertise one price and charge you something else. But I bet those laws vary by state.

Did you make a copy of your receipt before you mailed in the rebate?

I think I'd bring in the receipt, the ad (which I will send you), the products (even if you've taken them out of the package).

At the bare min, you're gonna need your receipt (or a copy of it - you can explain that you used the orginial for the MIR).

At Target, I think they can look up what you bought if you paid by a credit card. Maybe they can do that at Kmart?

My advice would be to keep your cool at Kmart (especially if you planning on shopping there in the future).

If the store can't help, call customer service or the District Manager.

No clearance skates here, but dd found a pair on sale and bought those. There were a few clearance toys, but nothing that really jumped out at me. I had to take my coupon to the customer service desk because the cashier refused to take it saying they don't take internet coupons. :stress: CS gave me the refund, but it was still a hassle. You can request that they reinstate your points. Mine expired while I was in the hospital giving birth (really) and they reinstated them when I asked. Doesn't hurt to try.

I was able to find the graco booster seat!! they had about 10 so I was happy with one. I was also able to find the lego toy story buzz and the rc one. I price checked them and of course it said check label pricing but took them with me to the front and when the cashier saw she had to enter a price I simply told her I got them last week for $1.99 and $2.49 and what do you know that is what she entered. I was sooooo happy oh and I also got my free hotwheels so thanks everyone for all the deals!!!! :woot:

In the automotive department I found a 12 volt cooler (and heater, I think). I just didn't even think about getting more info at the time. Sorry about that.

I do remember that it said it would hold (at least) 12 cans. It wasn't a big full size cooler -- off hand, I would say about 20" long and maybe 12" inches tall and wide -- give or take. Pretty sure it was gray.

It is in a box and was originally $80 marked down to $19. I know it said it would keep food hot -- I'm not sure if it actually heats or is just insulated like a regular cooler. I do know for sure that it cools -- no ice needed.

I rarely read this thread since I tend to only shop K with doubles or when I have an OYNO coupon to use. However, gotta keep up on it a little more since I now see that I've been missing out on the toys bday coupon and some unmarked clearance offers.

I saw someone ask something pages back about pet food promo and didn't notice a reply. Its the Pet Rewards where you get $2.50 on $25-50, $5 on $50-100 and $10 on $100+ single purchase. Coupon has to be used in combination with future pet purchase. It is a Kmart coupon not combinable with any other coupon. I'll get $25 pet food (as part of a $50 order) then use the 2.50 on next small order with 2.50+ of pet items. You can use MQs on the pet items and use the KQ to cover a non-pet purchase as long as you start with the right amount of pet items. I did this quite a few times last doubles where I was just buying multiple Whiskas BOGOs.

I feel like screaming my other deal - I found a MX dirtbike helmet that is DOT approved and looks just like ones we have looked at in our motorcycle shop here in town for $19!!!!!!!! The original price was $79, so this one wasn't 90% off yet, but I was not going to wait. DS has been wearing DD's PINK helmet for almost a year because he outgrew his! I love KMart clearance!

yep yep. I saw an attempted knifing by a shoplifter once. security tackled them coming INTO the store and a struggle ensued. but yes, due to this and other scary events, our clearance is normally great!

When I found the Satellite skate board, it was marked clearance, but not $5 clearance. ;) I think it was still marked $18, IIRC. But there were at least two yellow clearance stickers already on the box.

One way to help spot the Satellite board is that it was the only skateboard in the store that actually came *in* a box. So if you see a boxed board, you might want to give it a scan, regardless of what it's marked. :D

Sorry, it was already assembled and there was no box with it...all I can tell you is that it's a Sears Craftsman Model 358.748240 and was marked $5. They also had a few of what looked like a smaller model in boxes marked $3 -- they were also Craftsman brand. :)

I just came back from Kmart and noticed a yellow sticker on a black and red "Big Daddy" bike. Tag said it was clearance $104 reg. $259. Does that sound like the correct regular price on these bikes? I don't shop for bikes much...

I have never had a problem using them on Legos. I purchased a lot of little sets; space rangers, knights and caterpult, etc. - all within the $5.99 range before coupon.

Kmart's "reg prices" can be a bit inflated. For example, the Razor Powerwing scooters I posted about before claim a "reg price" of $120 at K, but Wal-Mart sells the same scooter for a "reg price" of $74.

Went to one K in a town south of here and found a boat load of TS lego full price, then went to a different one northeast and found one constructa Buzz for $2.49 :whee: Thank you, it was so much fun building it for my 3 y/o, He also got a Buzz matchbox car for $2.99 all with his birthday coupon.

I also found 2 pair of Adult size 9 inline skates for oldest DS priced $4.54 but this stoopit K only had the one funtioning scanner on the opposite side of the store than sporting goods and Toys so I didnt scan any of they other types.

I had a great day at the K!

I bought a Phase 10 Dice game for 5.15 - toy coupon = .15 plus tax
I also bought a Pocket Pals set for 5.99 - toy coupon = .99 plus tax

I then did one big one:
26 trial bags Purina One catfood (25.74)
1 Rake (5.99)
1 Clearance adult in-line skates 4.24 (marked clearance for 42.99)
1 Adult safety pads set 14.99 (I know, full price! But I'll break something otherwise!!)
1 Conair hair goods grab bag 2.99

Paid with:
5/50
26 Purina One $2 coupons
Total = .42 including tax. I went negative pre-tax but the cashier didn't care.

I will say it was great once it was done, but I was sweating it the whole time. One of the Assmans at this store keeps making up new rules for me. She almost lost it when she discovered I was buying a GC with the overage on the Purina One coupons last time around. She told me that GCs had to be bought in seperate transations (anyone else know this rule). She told me I could not use overage, cats, etc. to buy GCs but nothing about using it for other merchandise so I had my little spree today. I've been wanting to learn how to skate and this is a great, inexpensive opportunity. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a clearance bike or I'd have bought the rest of the Purina Ones to cover that one too.

Sounds like a profitable day for you, but it seems like you probably walked out with a big neon arrow above your head and a bullhorn shouting "NOT under the radar! NOT under the radar!"

Runs like this are exciting and fun, but can cause a lot of issues for yourself and other couponers down the road. I don't know of one single store that knowingly allows overage to be used to either purchase other items or be put on a gift card. The fact that K's system is overage-friendly works to our advantage - why would we want them to figure it out and change it??? Runs like this that end up p*ssing off managers will do just that, unfortunately. It's hard enough to get one coupon to be accepted sometimes, even when it's perfectly legitimate. Using over 20 in one transaction and flaunting the overage in each is a little too much, IMHO.

Sorry, I will get off my soapbox now...just wanted to point out that one good run today can mean a trillion crappy ones in the future.
