Several of the newer members have asked me how companies that offer freebies keep track of who has received one. I guess they have asked because of offers from places like Olay & Start Sampling. Most companies use your e-mail address to determine if you have received that particular offer. There are also companies that go by e-mail & address or by depositing cookies. I hope this helps people to understand why they sometimes get a message like "you have already requested this..."

NOTE: As I said I am interested in any legitimate freebie (ie: it comes). If you wish to discuss the merits of a freebie (whether you agree/disagree with its point of view) then I suggest you go to The Podium to do it. DO NOT DO IT HERE! I will MODalert that type of discussion.

when i seen the thread i immediately thought of the fake freebies that are posted over & over .

My philosophy of responses


If you are not interested in a deal move on to the next one
If you do not agree with a thread based on politics, religion etc move on to the next one
If a deal is for a site that looks Phisy MODalert & then move on to the next one
If you don't like the person who posted it move to the next one


This is the kind of negativity that makes me sick & tired. Why do you automatically assume I have not checked out or know these offers. No I will not clarify (what am I supposed to do, do the deal for you?) and gee I am really sorry these deals look phony to you.

This is not the first thread like this read the Freebie Forum Guide.

I do not mean to pick on you personally, but I am sick to death of the pettiness (new vs. old members, this vs. that) and just plain nasty behavior. Lets try to keep it upbeat shall we. Let's assume people are trying to help others out. Let's assume if a post is in the wrong forum that the person made a mistake. You could PM them & explain that particular rule & MODalert the post instead of being negative and giving this person a thumb's down. This is supposed to be a community. Instead of all the nastiness lets be novel and try to help each other out. As Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". After all it takes a village to raise a child....

Several of the newer members have asked me how companies that offer freebies keep track of who has received one. I guess they have asked because of offers from places like Olay & Start Sampling. Most companies use your e-mail address to determine if you have received that particular offer. There are also companies that go by e-mail & address or by depositing cookies. First of all I would like to say welcome to Slick Deals!

Second, I would suggest you just try them. I don't try the baby freebies very often because I don't have a baby and I don't know anyone who has a baby. So I cannot use them. Also I would hate to take a freebies that I would not use from someone else. I am pretty sure the bowl one is working because I got that a couple of months ago. Just let me know if you have a problem with any of the links and I will look into it.

I have three kids. To not know formula companies exist or that they have unscrupulous marketing practices such as free sample (long story but they violate the WHO code)- yet this parent uses a computer and likely uses a doctor- is pretty darn impossible. Not buying it.

There are no stupid questions, but plenty of condescending, ranting answers. To find a good deal that you didn't know existed requires reading years worth of previous posts while keeping up with each new one. Or if you have a catagory that interests you, search for a keyword like 'baby' and spend a few hours sifting the results for ones that may still be alive. Lastly, you can hope for reposts and think, "wow, I had no idea something like that existed". Best of luck and God bless.

Yeah, but typically those dogs didn't chew the pieces well enough, and large pieces actually lodged in their throats/intestines and they were too large to be digested fast enough. Basically if you have a dog who doesn't chew well.. I wouldn't suggest it.

had no general samples.

Thought it was odd as they will send you something twice a year if you

I got this a year or two ago ...Mr Jimmy Stewart does a truely lovely preformance...I Highly recommend it ... If you keep getting emails that you don't want after receiving the movie just send them an email. I did and I got a very nice email back and never heard from them again.

This just allows you to print a certificate to take to you doctor so you can get a free sample can of formula. You don't really need this as your doctor will usually give you a few free cans of different formulas to see which one works best for you.

Tips for getting free stuff

hi, i got this e-mail saying free enfamil by printing out a gift certificate and taking it to the doctors office. i thought this will be helpful for mother's with infants who are using this formula milk.u will get a sample by showing the printed certificate in your childrens doctor's office.limit one sample per house hold.:shake:
