Is there any way to search for only new threads in say the Hot Deals forum?
New posts are nice, but are not very usefull. How about a new threads in the last X days? Any way to do that either?

Search -> Advanced search, set "find posts from" to something, choose "Sort results by" thread start date, and click on Hot Deals at the right. Works just like it did before today's changes.

You can exclude specific forums from New Posts as well, in your User CP. Canbe useful if you like to use that one button :)
