Greets,

Does anybody care about stuff like this?

Here's an ad on SD:

Which linking to their site (http://www.enterprisephoto.com/item.asp?item=471) drops you to this page:

No lens. Same price as their ad, so you think, "Score", and then end up with a camera without a Lens.

Nowhere on their site can I find a Rebel XT Kit for $395.

I realize this is a "paid for" ad and not a SD, but it's stuff like this that makes all of these camera outfits despicable. Thankfully, I'm not even in the market for one of these, but there are a lot of people who would mistake this, not read the fine print, on something deliberately misleading advertised on a very respectable site.

And if no one cares, disregard.

I guess I'm just trying to help keep SD "douchebag-free".

I care. But keeping SD douchebad free is impossible

The person handling the ad has been contacted so it will be removed soon.

I wasn't sure if I should even post something like this,... Sorry if it pisses anyone off, but slickdeals has such a good rap ... hate to see false advertisement taint it.

I said taint.

FWIW, I appreciate your attempts to keep things running honestly--if it was my first time here that stuff would keep me from coming back. Even though I'm a contest junky and not really a deal one.

Yeah, this is the second or third time I've seen Mr. SD handle ads like this quickly and responsibly. He takes care of us a lot better than many other webmaster/admins I've seen.
