When I go http://slickdeals.net the all the news on the front page is collapsed - when i go to http://www.slickdeals.net all the news on the front page is expanded.
Using FireFox 2.0.0.12
What is the correct behavior? Personally I like the way it looks @ http://slickdeals.net better.

not sure but would this help? from the FAQ
Collapsing right-hand side elements (12)
After the original beta released to the public, many mentioned that right had side of the page was too busy for their liking. To help remedy this, we have changed the layout and made all of the right-hand side elements of the page collapsible. If you do not regularly use features such as Search or User Central, you can "minimize" them by clicking the Box Collapse button, leaving more space for the Hot Topics and Hot Offers boxes. The box will then collapse, leaving only the header visible. Click the same button one more time to expand the collapsed section. You can collapse any section which contains the Box Collapse button.

For some reason when i just loaded SD, the right hand "Hot Topics" area was expanded so it takes up half the front page. I never have clicked that, so not sure why it's coming out that way now

Serra you hit the nail right on the head, it seems that the two sites share different preferences even though i'm logged in under the same user.
