Most people here would expect to be free or free after MIR or even get money back after rebate.

That being said it would be a good revenue source to help the site owner pay for this site. Some one might buy the stuff.

Slickdeals inserts referral codes into many links and is paid for the resultant sales.

I don't think it's a good idea to have people running around advertising the site - one of the cardinal rules here is to never mention Slickdeals to any worker or official at any given store, in order to protect our sweet, juicy deals from drying up. Walking around in a Slickdeals.com t-shirt rather obviously breaks that rule.

Basically, the fewer people who know about Slickdeals, the better, and with a t-shirt or other apparel you can't control who you tell about it. That guy next to you on the subway might be the regional manager for Best Buy, and so on.

Slickdeals is a rich man no since adding to it. :lmao:
If this site sold stuff the free shirts that some people get wouldn't be so special.

I would wear a SD hat all the time (I need a new hat now that I am going bald). I wear my woot shirt once a week, and I only spend about 30 seconds on that site, so I know I would wear a killer SD shirt more often. Even more if it was a button-up or Polo (business casual code)

bring em on, I'll buy one(as soon as I get a new job.....Damn downsizing)

if we were all like you we wouldn't share any deals and the site be pretty useless. we are all here to help each other and spread the word.

That isn't what I meant. I tell people about Slickdeals too, I just feel that t-shirts and hats and the like aren't the best way to get the word out because you can't really be selective about who you're notifying. I'm sure you'll agree that the fewer store execs (just saying 'people' was a bad choice of wording on my part) who know about SD, the better.

Just list the shirts at $50 each, and have a continuous CLEARANCE SALE!!! at $10 each, people would buy them thinking they were getting an 80% discount :lmao: Then there could be a series of threads where people argue about whether shipping charges and tax should be considered when figuring if the discount is 80% or only 73.5%.

Or sell the shirts at $50 with a $45 rebate, which would be sent to only half the purchasers, who would post, "I got my rebate!" :lmao:

I can design a slickdeals t-shirt, if anyone is interested.
Well, actually you can design your own custom one: link (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=89230&t=219097&highlight=design+t-shirt). Thanks to Micayle. It will cost you ~8$ though. Maybe you guys should have a contest to see who makes the best one.
