Why did the bingo site free money deal and the poker sites free money deal get yanked from the freebies section and moved to the coupons section?? As a slickdealer, this concerns me because I look in the freebies section every day, but I rarely to never look in the coupons section.

These deals have FAR more relevance to freebies than coupons. You register for a site and get free money, or at least a free chance for free money. The key word here is free. There is no coupon given for any discount or anything of that nature. I would hate to miss out on a free deal like the bingo site (thank you very much 50 bucks), because it has been moved to a non-relevant section of slickdeals that I do not often visit. :worship: :woot:

If it was up to me, I'd delete those stupid posts, I hate them. They have scam written all over them. But as a moderator, I have to think of the members & not my personal feelings.

Consider most of those offers take a coupon code to get the money, fellow mederators and I decided move to them to the coupon section with the tag still in freebies so that people could find them.

Does this fall under "iron fist rule" as my non-threatening title was changed??? maybe, maybe not......moreover, I think the fellow moderators need to take polls on these kind of things. Explain to me where to coupon is in this bingo deal......there isn't one, you just sign up and play, no basis whatsoever. I respect that your job is to keep slickdeals a safe, enjoyable for all site........but when you're rebuttal is that most "of these deals" require a coupon....all that tells me is that you didn't take the time to review this particular deal to notate it doesn't require a coupon, and involves free stuff. Great moderation, you should all win smiley face stickers!!

this falls under relevance rule.

if you want to be taken seriously, then address the topic in a serious fashion. using expletives not only undermines the seriousness of your inquiry but makes it unclear as to what you're actally writing about. expletives do not help prove your point.

second, please provide a link to the thread you are concerned about.

The relevance rule ay? Maybe we aren't that far apart then. All I was simply asking was about the relevance of moving a free deal from the freebies to the coupon thread. It just appeared to me as a moderator using too much personal bias in making a judgment call. It's not like I'm a facist anarchist or something :) i.e. moving this to the site suggestions was a proper move. Making an issue out of and changing my title of "explitive deleted"-which I thought was light humor.....borderline.

Basically, this is a FUN internet website.....if I make a suggestion/point and have fun with it at the same time, it should be okay. Geez, I'm just pointing out that newbie moderator may have made an incorrect call on the bingo switch....and if you all deliberated in the batcave about it, maybe you all made such mistake. Learn to smile, and don't confuse simple humor with personal attacks and you'll all feel a lot better about life

you'd get your point across more effectively if you label your thread using relevant terms, provide a link to the thread you think should be moved elsewhere and provide a short explanation of why you think that is so. you can accomplish the same with a modalert.

i haven't accused you of any personal attacks, so i'm not really sure where you're getting this from. stick to the facts.

if you want this matter to be resolved, provide a link as requested.

I think these are some of the threads that Vino was talking about. I agree they should be Hot Deals or Freebies, not coupons. Maybe even rebates for 2 of them. Here is a short list. I have done two of these and been very successful FYI

Thanks, and I'm sure that 75% + of slickdeals would agree.....that's all i was trying to point out :) Stupid fascists...........don't worry, I'm not naming any names ;) because I understand the rules :)
