I'm not sure who decides what goes on the front page, but IMO there is way too much computer "crap" on it. I very frequently only have time to look at the front page, and I know I'm missing something good.how about a little more variety please?

The main reason we see so many deals on technology and related items is because price volatility of such items is usually considerably higher than other consumer goods. And while we try to keep the balance as much as we can, sometimes there may seem to be an over abundance of tech deals - and this is a normal perception.
That's the nature of this deal site - unfortunately we don't get to pick which deals happen on which day, or even on which items, just the collection of slick deals for specific things which may vary greatly :)
The main driver for an item to get to front page is the price which has to be slick, variety is not the main decision factor.
