Best place to sell your scrap gold

I always get prepaid mailers from the "Precious Metal Processing Company" from Colorado. Can anyone suggest another service to get the most money from my gold?

I went to a local reputable jeweler just today. Got $45.00 for a 10k bracelet I originally paid $75 for . . . and $52 for a pair of 18k earings bought in Egypt about 15 years ago . . .both items have been sitting in my jewelry box for years . . .now I will buy myself a nice pearl set I have been eying at Sam's club . . .

well there was some website i read about the guy doing that commercial one. As long as you don't take their first offer your ok, but i'd go to a local jeweler
