How do you slickdeal owners make money? It cant just be from the little ads i see on the main page. So how does a side project like this for you guys earn you cash?

QUIET...don't remind the Slickdeals God he's probably getting shafted off this site.
:P I doubt it... I would assume these sites make money by their 'clickthroughs' and 'ads'.
Most affiliate sites make anywhere from 1%-15% (usually 4-6%) of every sale made by a buyer that found the on-line store through a link on their site. For example, if slickdeals has an affiliate deal with dell for 3%, basically all of the dell purchases made by clicking through on the sitewill bring the Slickdeals God 3% of the gross..
Amounts to a good sum if you add everything up! (Gorgar alone could probably make the Slickdeals God a millionaire through his purchases!!! :D )

Why not? You can make money from those ads, if you have enough traffic, and I'm sure SD gets healthy traffic.
