It usually does that, my laptop also happened to crash during that time--which also never happens. Unfortunately that killed everything in the print queue. I also lost my unsaved shopping list that I had open in notepad. My husband always tells me I need to save things more frequently. :rolleyes: But I also asked him to print the coupons I knew I really wanted but I thought might not make it through the day from his work and he didn't do that either. Oh well.

I don't think it works if you shut off your computer though. They didn't start printing when my computer recovered from it's crash. But every time I put it to 'sleep' and woke it up it tried to print the rest, until the crash that it.

Sorry, I'm not sure, but probably not. I used the $0.50/1 Chefs Favorites Steamfresh coupons when they were on sale for $0.99 last week and on a previous sale about a month ago to get those for free.
So I still had this coupon available to print this time around for the sale on the small boxes at $0.69 each, making them $0.38 for 2 of them, or $0.19/each.

If you have access to any other computer, you still might be able to print 2 more that way. Sometimes I fire up an old laptop just to grab a print of a good coupon.
Or try to make a plate and see if it lets you print again, that way we'll know if it reset or not. I would try, but I still have two more printed coupons I haven't used yet because I ran out of freezer space! :(

At another store they have Wasa near the produce -- they have Carrs and Dare crackers and Wasa crispbread near the produce and next to the cheese. The layout of ShopRite stores is always so different. Like when the Emmi was on sale, one store had it with all the other yogurts, but another had it in one of the refrigerated cabinets with doors where it was shelved with organic items.

Totally distracted from SR this week. JJ frozen smoothie qs came in yesterday afternoon and I finally went to SR around 9pm... actually found them hidden in the bottom shelf behind some Yoplait frozen bites. Sorry I shelf cleared 20 since it was the last day sale and who knows if I'll be back before my qs expire. Well HU for White Oak, MD SDers but the registers are now programmed not to double after 4 identical qs. Mind you, since opening a couple months back their policy was "no limit" as long as you have no more than 1/item. I was so tired I forgot to separate my transactions in 4s like i always do just to be safe so I was so shocked when I was paying $14 oop :lol:. CS had no problem refunding me the difference and I assured them I'd come on different days and separate next time. I'm still the "emmi girl" :lmao: even though I can't find any more qs :(

Not sure what the price is this week but it was on sale for $1.74 and there is a .75/1 mq exp. 11/23 that I got a set of. Hey I see you got some answers but I found it in the deli area in a refrigerated section with all kinds of cheeses and spreads. The tag last night said 7.99 :omg: ..i am so hoping for a little good cheap cheese. Definitely trying wed morning and will report back.

OT: Did ya'll know you can change your post format to WYSIWYG? So you can change size, color, font etc and not have brackets all over. It makes it easier for me to read what I'm typing and still make it perty! :) You can just hold down the CTRL key and use the scroll button on the mouse to increase/decrease the font size. This works both when you are viewing the forum or when you are creating or editing a post. IMHO, the bolding and colored text would be better reserved for highlighting deals -- as is done in this thread's wiki and celestial's posts.

All my trips, my store will override my coupons that say DND. So why not the other way around? I saw some people do it but I was not sure what the "right practice" was.

Yes, there is a .75/1 Cracker Barrel cpn for new season cheddar that start with "5" and does not say DND. I dont have any but I saw someone had listed it in a trading forum. I just have the DND9 tearpad and also blinkies which I found at StopNShop and I don't even eat cheese.

IMOP if its coded with a 9 & doesnt state dnd anywhere on the q why not question it the right cashier would probably double it. The worst that can happen is they say no & you are right where you started. On the flip side the 9 does mean its coded not to double. Not sure if they would get reimbursed the $. So the question is. Is it proper couponing to ask to double it? I would say it shouldnt be doubled

Stores are only reimbursed face value of coupon. It is the store/company that offers the doubling amount. Mfr. does not get charged the doubling amount.
That being said, I don't understand why the mfr sometimes does not want their coupon to double, as it does not cost them anything.

re: the 0.75/1 q...AFAIK stores don't ever get reimbursed by the manufacturer for the doubling amount, just the face value of the q - which is why stores have different ways of doubling (or some stores don't double q's at all)...so you're not doing anything wrong by using the q...hth

re: the 0.75/1 q...AFAIK stores don't ever get reimbursed by the manufacturer for the doubling amount, just the face value of the q - which is why stores have different ways of doubling (or some stores don't double q's at all)...so you're not doing anything wrong by using the q...hth

Okay...I just looked at the coupons and they say they expire on the 1/15/11on the front, but it's for a new product...and the back states 1/15/2012...heads up in case a cashier gives you a problem with it. Cracker Barrel says it was an obvious misprint.

A CAT is the coupons that print out from the machine next to the register. Your cashier hands them to you with your receipt. So this week when you buy 3 general mills cereals you get a CAT for a free gallon of milk up to $4.50. So you just get a coupon that prints out at the register for free milk the NEXT time you shop.

It doesn't matter how the coupon is coded. It matters how it's worded. We're always trying to get cashiers to look at the wording rather than go by if it "beeps" or not or what the picture is of. The wording did indicate the coupon was for OJ & the sausage (which is why I skipped it altogether).

On the same subject of whether coupons will work or not -- I have a number of tearpad coupons for Cracker Barrel. They say Save 75c when you buy any (1) Cracker Barrel New Seasoned Cheddars. I didn't notice the Seasoned Cheddar at my local ShopRite, but the other bricks are $1.99 and would end up being free with triple coupon tomorrow ... if it was acceptable to use.

My store had some in a case near the front door, in addition to the cheese island where they regularly have them. It was nice when they used to have the 'weight' packages, as you call them. Year or so ago there were tearpads next to them. Got some real real cheap! (But they wouldn't scan cause of coding on the store packaged ones.)

This Adam's Reserve cheese is excellent! Does anyone know if this freezes well??
I haven't tasted the Adam's Reserve after freezing, but in the past when I freeze cheddar it tastes different. I only use the frozen cheddar for cooking. Gourmet mac and cheese anyone...:drool:

Went this afternoon all couponed up and with a plan for all I was going to get. The store was mad busy. I had three totes in the bottom of my cart and my wallet was in one of the totes. I was juggling coupons. I had almost finished shopping when somehow my cart went missing -- I presume someone took it accidentally. I spoke to a manager who asked that everyone check their carts and make sure they had the right one. I frantically searched the aisles to see if I could locate my cart. Over the next hour, the manager made two more announcements asking people to check their carts. No-one turned in the cart or wallet. Only at that stage did someone alert the security guy. I went to his office and reviewed the security footage from a number of cameras. This took about three hours. We could see a woman take the cart but when she checked out (presuming it was the same woman, the video was very grainy) she didn't seem to have the three totes.

My wallet had credit cards, driving license, lots of store cards and a good bit of cash. I was so stupid to have it in the cart.

I think I'm going back to the store again for another recce.

They said one of the managers had found it at the back of the store, I think there was some possibility that it got mixed up with the shop at home carts. Manager noticed that there was a wallet in there but didn't even open it to see who it belonged to and no-one had called me to let me know it was found. My groceries and coupons were in there too so I resumed my shopping in a much more peaceful store.

Previous ones like this (expired sometime in summer) had only new long barcode and were reported to not auto-double, meaning DND was coded in the long barcode. After that I stopped paying attention to those coupons especially since we are still not getting them in our inserts.

Today I'm going to take all my cards and scan them so I have a list in one place. What I didn't realize is that not all credit card statements list the account number in full -- some just have the last four digits.

So glad you got your wallet back with all it's contents intact!! :)Great idea for the cards. I am going to do that too. I used to carry around my SS card and voter registration until I read that it's the worst thing you can do. If your wallet gets stolen the thief has everything they need to steal your identity...scary!
