If you want to discuss the pros/cons of shopping at Wal-Mart do that here. (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=311125&t=827481)

Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.

There is no weekly ad to work with so we're going to have to add things from what we see when we are there. So please keep an eye out when you're at Wal-Mart next for any hot deals.

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy (http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=204770&sdtid=828988&sdfid=38&u2=http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx)

Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):
* Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
* Free merchandise (or Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
* Store coupons
* Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
* Internet coupons
* Soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:
* Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
* Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
* Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
* Only one coupon per item is permitted.
* Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

***YMMV on internet coupons. Some stores won't take them at all, some only take 1 per transaction and others take as many as you have. If you run into any trouble you can try showing them a copy of their coupon policy, but there is still no guarantee they will take internet coupons. Click on "Wal-Mart Coupon Policy" above to see it on the actual Wal-Mart website.

Guide to Wal-Mart
Use the SCO (Self-Checkout) to avoid coupon scrutiny
You cannot get an overage at the SCO's
Go to a regular cashier if you plan on having overage
Go to a regular cashier if you have a bottle cap
You can only use $20 worth of coupons at SCO
You can use up to $40 worth of coupons at a regular check out (Without Manager Approval) - (You can use as many as you want with approval)
If your coupon doesn't register as being inserted in the coupon slot at the SCO then blow in the slot
Some SCO's are coded to only accept 1 of each coupon and will need cashier approval.
Some SCo's are coded to need cashier approval for coupons with a $3 or higher value.Wal-Mart Price Guarantee
If an item rings up for more than the price on the shelf WalMart policy is to give you $3.00 off the price the item scans for. If the item is less than $3.00 you get it for FREE. One item per $3.00 discount. YMMV as some stores will just give you the price difference instead of $3.00 off
NO MORE PRICE GUARANTEE AS OF JUNE 2008

It has come to our attention that an original intent of a manufacturer's coupon(s) has been compromised and it is being discussed on the slickdeals.net forums. Today I bought a karate Kid 2 dvd pack for $13. It had a dark red peelie on it for a $10 free movie ticket for karate Kid that expires 08/15/10 and is courtesy of sonymoviecash.com. Hth and Happy 4th weekend! :)

FYI, the new karate kid movie was over 2 hrs long. I took my DS5 cause he is in karate class, and there was very little karate in it. But we did have a good discussion about bullying and when it is appropriate to use his karate moves. I think I fell asleep during it.

This week walmart has the Lysol Disinfecting Wipes Bonus-Pack for $2.52 (35ct)
My question is lysol has a coupon on their website for $1.00 off any two Lysol disinfecting wipes
Since this is a bundle pack and I am actually buying two but in one package could I use this coupon? Thanks.

No, only one coupon on a double pack. The only place that will let you use 2 q's on a double pack is BJ's.

Does the Schick disposable razor coupon qualify as a cash back type for walmart as it's for $6, but we'd only use $4 worth?

How much are the razors? That coupon excludes the 2 count and since it's for $6 off TWO, I imagine you'd be using up the entire 6 bucks.

Matters not though because the new wording on all of those high value printables we just got state:

"No cash back if coupon value exceeds retail price."

I noticed that, but was pondering whether it meant no cash back as in no cash value or no cash back as in overage. :(

 cash value is in a separate sentence. cash value 1/20¢

no cash back for the coupon = no overage

Well, at least the put it below the barcode.

I'm not really sure how to take that one either. No cash back to me doesn't mean the same as no "o". At other stores that don't give cash back, like WM, many of them allow overage.......you just can't get change from the drawer. Who knows? Coupons confused enough cashiers and managers before. Now, you need some sort of Masters Degree in coupons, but then again so many are worded in such a way that a lawyer could probably argue on behalf of either party and win. ;)

Like I said, it can probably be argued both ways.

I have a grocery store that doubles coupons, for a day or 2 more anyway. They double all coupons, even those that say do not double, so is this any different since it's WM's policy to allow overage? I really don't know. I'm just looking at our side, the store's side and the manufacturer's side.

Will the mfg know how much the product was?

Will WM be reimbursed full value?

If WM will be reimbursed full value then my guess is we will receive full value.

If the mfg is only going to give WM face value then who knows? Can you imagine WM adding that to the official policy? We'll allow overage on most everything, unless there's small writing on the coupon that says no cash allowed? Heck, the stores can't get a grasp for the policy as it is. :shake:

My understanding is that WM is giving overage because.... it cost too much money to deal with coupons that have been ajusted down..what the coupon scans for is the amount of money that WM will be remburst..(they use clearing houses a human really dosent look at the coupon unless there is a problem with it ) if this coupon scans for $6.00 off 2 then that is what u will get regaurdless of the fine print

As the coupon specifically states "No cash back" a store could allow overage and still be within the terms of the coupon.

doubling is different b/c it comes out of the store's bottom line, it doesn't get reimbursed from the mfr. it's more like a store coupon since in reality they just give you the item for cheaper by the amount that's being doubled.

My first price match experience at Walmart. I took the Big Lots ad for Operation games and the CS rep told me it would be more than half off their current price so they won't price match it !!! Did anybody else have the same experience ? This was in the Commerce WalMart in SE MI.

:yucky: It stinks of BS. Next time go you, be prepared with a print-out of their Price Matching policy. Or pull it up on your phone.

ETA - I also had my first PM experience this week with the Big Lots ad. It seems like they either haven't been trained or very few people have done it at my store 'cause they all looked very, very confused as to why I could possibly get away with saving so much money. With this experience, all I can say is that their marketing team struck gold. WM looks oh-so-very-patriotic in these hard economic times but the reality is that we still get treated like thieves when we try to use their own promotion. /rant

We have price matched at 4 Walmarts using ads from a number of stores and the only problem we have had was a cashier not knowing how to do it which was remedied real fast by a asst manager or another cashier tell them the steps to take.

Nice deal on the Schick disposables! Just went in and got 24 razors and a Mt. Dew. The cashier even gave me the extra .15 (YMMV).

Just wondering. Was going to stop by the other location and try this again with coupons from my other computer. Could I use 2 of these 6/2Q on 4 Schick bags? (for a total of 4$ overage?)

New to couponing so let me know if something like this is possible.

How the heck did they scan?

I spent 20+ minutes today trying to get these; and the coupon would not scan. Was told by CSM that "if it doesn't scan we can't take it".

I don't normally do WM (for the reason I just mentioned)...so what does eveyone do when you get a beeper?

Ended up leaving the whole order and walking out...

Has anyone checked coding on the razors? This is the same company that makes Skintimate, and Skintimate products have two manufacturer codes right now...wonder if the razors are the same way?

The Q is coded 41058, but if the razors have the other code (46500, I think, though I may have it wrong off the top of my head), the q would certainly cause a "print journal" error.

My razors are 10 ct- with 2 Bonus. 12 count total Coded 41058
Thanks and reps for you both for info!

doubling is different b/c it comes out of the store's bottom line, it doesn't get reimbursed from the mfr. it's more like a store coupon since in reality they just give you the item for cheaper by the amount that's being doubled.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I respectfully disagree.

I don't really see the difference, as the discussion was "wording on the coupon".

Many coupons say do not double and stores that double........well they double them anyway, well aware of the wording. Many stores that double have other "deals" with manufacturers to offset doubles, but that's another discussion. So in many cases they aren't like store coupons. That's why certain mfg's put that wording on their coupons.

If it says no cash back, that's different than no "o". As long as you have other products in your cart that cover it than you wouldn't get cash anyway. WM is wacky anyway, but if they are gettig 6.00, then I imagine we will get the 6.00 too, no matter what the coupon says.

T's coupon policy is vague, on purpose too! No cash back shall be given to the guest, or something like that. A coupon may be marked down.

I had an hour long discussion on the phone with an SM that hadn't really bothered to read their manual and she agreed it was vague enough to be twisted in favor of the guest or in favor of the store. She chose me, on that particular instance, but it can go either way depending on the cashier and LOD, at any given time.

More confusing wording to make longer check-outs. :( Whatever, I just try to go with it anymore. You win some, you lose some.

The crazy show starts up in a week or two, so my guess is we'll see changes in policies all over the place again. :( I don;t know about WM though, because they like to take sales from whoever they can.

while waiting to check-out, a lady in front of me was telling the cashier that she would like to pay for 2 boxes of capri sun and a bottle of minute maid oj that she had at the bottom of her cart on her last shopping trip that she didn't pay for. cashier told her he needed the items in order to scan them but ask her to speak to a supervisor and it ended up that she didn't have to pay for them.
anyway, got myself 6 packs of razors, 4 vicks puff tissue boxes and 3 boxes of gas-x (my last coupon and there were at least 50 boxes on the shelf). Went over to check the ts crest complete tp and it was wiped out only left was the one without the word "complete" but noticed that they both have the same upc.

That happened to me once at Target. I had a bottle of pop that I forgot to pay for and when I went back, I asked if they could just scan another one and I could pay for it. They said no, that I needed the original bottle

be prepared if using the $3/2 mq, it doesn't scan but a register "journal printout or something like that".... might want to go to the vick's website and print out the "products page" to point out the vicks tissue box.

you are looking at it from a total transaction point of view. that if you have fillers to soak up the overage, then you won't be getting cash back and that is fulfilling the terms of the coupon.

razors + filler - coupon = no cash back

but the mfr is only talking about the item or items you are required to purchase to fulfill the requirements of the coupon and that you cannot get cash back if the value of the coupon is more than the item or items.

it's irrelevant to the terms of the coupon whether you purchase other stuff (filler) in the transaction or not. whether or not you have filler in your transaction has nothing to do w/ the coupon.

the only things you can take into consideration are what is in the terms of the coupon, in this case just the razors, and that you cannot get cash back after the coupon is applied to the razors whether you have other purchases or not.

razors - coupon must = oop or 0

let me use different example that may be easier to visualize. my friend is going to treat me to lunch. i cannot bring my mother along and just expect my friend to pay for my mother also. my mother was not part of the luncheon invitation.

Walmart's policy is not to markdown coupons..........so by your theory these coupons wouldn't be able to be redeemed at WM?

If your mother had a coupon for a 15.00 lunch and a 20.00 coupon for lunch then I'd say her lunch would be free. :) I'd also so the 5.00 could be applied to another party at the table, but I think all the above discussion is just YMMV.

The wording on the coupons is getting a bit out of control, in my opinion. :)

If someone purchases the razors at WM and they don't have anything to absorb the "o" then definitely YMMV.

As much as I hate to do it, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you as well. I understand what you are saying and why you are reading into this so deeply, but "no cash back" means just that...no cash back. It does not mean that overage can't occur.

Scotch words their Q's properly for that outcome. One was just posted in the printable thread for $2/1 pop up dispenser ($5 min). If no overage was Schick's intent, then they should require a minimum purchase...but they don't. The only restriction is that we can't walk away with cash.

To each his or her own on this issue, but SD has always espoused wording as the first and foremost decision maker as to what a q means...not how we can spin or otherwise interpret that wording. Anyone is free to use the q in a manner that does not grant them overage if they so desire, but IMHO others are free to seek overage, as long as they aren't getting cash back...because that's all the q prohibits. There is no minimum purchase requirement in the wording of the q.

Again, I fully understand what you are saying, but that's not what Schick actually wrote. Far be it from us to try and figure out their intent. I would also guess that Vicks didn't intend for us to use their Q's on the Puffs with Vicks, and I would guess that Crest didn't intend for us to use their Q's on trial size toothpaste...but those Q's don't prohibit that either. Our job is to use Q's per the wording...we aren't required to figure out the intent. Everyone is free to interpret this q as they see fit, but the only wording we have is "no cash back", so folks are free to take that literally.

i am not spinning or otherwise interpreting the coupon. i've been reading coupons for over 30 yrs. i understand how coupons work and the terms and limits of the coupons, so i know when i have a case to argue w/ the cashier and when i don't. if you get overage, you got lucky, if the cashier says no, imo, i wouldn't argue the case w/ this coupon.

No cash back means no cash from the drawer. I probably won't use the coupon at WM, but I don't think anyone can read intent. Unless you speak to the author of the coupon, you really don't know what the intention of the manufacturer was. :shake:

So, if you have a coupon that says do not double, written by the manufacturer and you redeem it at a store that doubles coupons, do you go to customer service and give them the face value that they doubled? You can argue that's an in-store promotion, but I can argue that the "o" at WM is an in-store promotion also. WM is driving for market share-----overage, price matching without ads, etc....... They are choosing to give consumers face value for the coupons, so I don't think anyone should judge folks or try to guess at the intent of a manufacturer.

Do you believe when that coupon go to the clearinghouse that it gets scanned at the price the consumer actually paid, even if it was marked down at Rite Aid or CVS? I don't believe that for a moment. So why make a big deal over this?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I respect that we all have different opinions and I think this could be argued both ways, but in a courthouse setting I'm guessing the written word would win. No cash back! If I go to WM and purchase 100.00 worth of stuff and use this 6.00 coupon, the cash drawer won't open and no cash will be given back. Anyhow, I think we should agree to disagree on this one.

I do not think people who redeem these are doing anything wrong and shouldn't be made to feel like they are, but here again this is my opinion and the wonderful thing about the US, is we're all allowed to have our own opinions. :) Again, I respectfully disagree, but I certainly agree you are welcome to voice your opinion.

Unfortunately, I don't think there are many deals to talk about right now. Board games & razors. I think that's part of the reason these debates get a bit heated at times. We all just miss the deals and hope they come back, so when a good coupon/deal comes along we hang on to it. ;)

We need a thread on SD for a kangaroo court on coupon wording & store policies. I'm sure it could be a very active thread, as unfortunately that darn show starts up again soon and more policies will be tightened and coupons will have more wording.

P&G is going to have to produce page size coupons if they want to add to the restrictions and have the cashiers be able to read them without a magnifier. :)

My first price match experience at Walmart. I took the Big Lots ad for Operation games and the CS rep told me it would be more than half off their current price so they won't price match it !!! Did anybody else have the same experience ? This was in the Commerce WalMart in SE MI.
That is absolutely ridiculous. For one, Walmart has been price matching for many years. I've PM'd on Black Friday over the years and many items have been 60-75% off Walmart's current price. Some of the Csm's still don't understand PM....it's so mind boggling!!!
You should call the Manager!

I went to Target tonight and purchased the "Fun on the Run" CONNECT 4 game at $4.99.
I took my receipt to the nearest Walmart and PM'd . I used my $5 newspaper coupon and got some Connect 4 games Free. It was difficult at first because Target's upc # was different than Walmart's, but then I reminded the CSM that according to their new policy, I really didn't have to show her a receipt or provide proof to PM. I sure wish the coupon listed hungry hippos cause they had plenty of them. Oh well, if you're looking for FREE games try to PM Connect 4 "Fun on the Run" from Target. Btw, the Walmart I was at still thinks that they only have to PM Ads. Geeeesh!!! When will these Walmart people comprehend that Walmart CORP would rather have us spend money in their store, rather than going to a competitor?

 cash value is in a separate sentence. cash value 1/20¢

no cash back for the coupon = no overage
It does not say no overage it says no cash back, when using coupons you are legal bound to go by the words, not the picture and not intent, people can make a choice how they want to use it

ST, can I pose another question to you? I promise I'm not trying to be snarky at all...I just want to see if I can get you to see the other side for a minute, even if you still don't agree. (After all, we don't all have to agree, but we should open our minds to legitimate possibilities).

Most every coupon says something along the lines of "consumer must pay all sales tax". But...if I use those Q's for overage at WM, I'm not paying the full sales tax, am I? Every time I use a $1 q on a $.97 item, that q pays for three cents of tax. Does that make for unethical usage? (pre coupon tax state here, btw)

I say no, because WM has a policy not to adjust coupons down.

Sometimes store rules supersede coupon rules, simply because we redeem them at the store and not directly with the manufacturer. WM knows what the manufacturer will reimburse them for, and would never implement a q policy that would cause a mass declination of the coupons they redeemed. As long as we are redeeming coupons on the proper items, any store that redeems a q towards sales tax or doubles a q that says do not double or allows overage on a q that prohibits cash back is allowed to do so. Now, if a store chooses to follow those rules and mark the q down or not allow cash back, so be it. But I don't see how we can judge others for following the store's rules.

I totally agree w/ slowtech! Anytime you get "o," you ARE technically getting cashback, you're just choosing to spend it on something else.

If you have a $6 q, and buy $4 in items, if you're expecting $6 in credit from the q, then that is an extra $2 in cash money that you are spending, yeah wm doesn't get that cash money till they redeem the q, but that doesn't change the fact.

When wm redeems that q, they get $4 to cover the purchase, and $2 to cover your "o" purchase. that's $2, cashback that you've already spent...if it weren't being converted into cashback, then you'd be stealing that extra $2 of merchandise from wm.

sorry, you are paying the full sales tax in your example. when the coupons says *you pay sales tax* (glade ip) it means you are responsible for paying the sales tax and you don't get a pass on the tax like a store coupon unless you are a post coupon state where that is the law. you are just paying it partially w/ overage.

so in other words, if you buy an item that is .97 and the tax on that item is .07, if you use a 1.00 coupon , you still have to pay .04, you do not get a pass on the .07 tax due and do not get .03 back from the overage.

you are paying the sales tax, just partially w/ overage.

on the other hand, if you bought the same item at target w/ a store coupon, you would not be liable for the .07 tax. i use target b/c as far as i know, walmart doesn't have any store coupons. but it's the same scenario at my supermarket w/ supercoupons.

using mq-
.97 + .07tax = 1.04 -1.00mq = .04oop (tax paid is .07)

using store q-
.97 - store q = FREE (no tax liability)

what all you guys are ignoring is what i'll call *the rules of the road*. you are just looking at the part that says *no cash back* and thinking that overage is ok just as you don't get actual cash back from the drawer.

for instance, say you get pulled over by a police officer and you know you followed all the posted signs, you stopped at the stop sign, you drove at the speed limit of 35mph, you yielded, etc, etc, etc. the officer says, i'm giving you a $100 ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, are you going to argue that there is no sign posted that says you need to wear a seatbelt?

what i'm saying is that road rules of couponing means that the terms and limits of a coupon only apply to the coupon and the item(s) you need to purchase to fulfill the requirements of the coupon. you have to look at it separately from everything else. it doesn't say it on the coupon but that's how coupons work.

what i'm also saying is you may get lucky and the cashier doesn't read the part saying no cash back. i like to get lucky too. i may sometimes do things to increase my luck. you may get lucky very, very often b/c we all know most cashiers don't read the coupon unless the cash register has a problem w/ it and beeps, says cryptic messages like print journal, etc. but i'm not going to argue w/ the cashier if they say this coupon doesn't allow overage. just like you can only use 4 like p&g coupons, if the cashier decides to follow the terms on the coupon, even though walmart itself doesn't impose any limits. are you going to argue w/ the cashier that you can use unlimited like p&g q's? no, b/c what the coupons says supersedes the store coupon policy and the store has to follow those terms to get reimbursed.

i am going to drop this topic b/c we all know that coupons and coupon policies are currently evolving at rapid pace and what's here today could be gone tomorrow.

Some stores also carried the bird gravel, for about the same price.

At a non-WM store I found some Hartz mice and catnip heart toys. Makes a great donation to a local PetSmart rescue organization or animal rescue. :) They were just free, but it worked for me. I still had 8 coupons the other day, so I picked them up as the WM's were exhausted of the cheapies. :)

Had an issue with a manager telling me I can't use a coupon on top of a price match (operation game) because the price match IS a coupon.

I see by doing research that corporate policy is to allow coupons on top of a PM...but I can't find the official policy that says this. Does it exist?!

Oh, no my dear............you have educated a manager, make sure that you continue to PM at the registers so that all cashiers, CSMs, etc are going to follow the rules. It's a shame for you to have educated and not let others get some benefit out of it.........
I had a CSM hand back a stack of qs last week........."these are duplicates, you can't use them, they all have the same numbers........" and he pointed to the bar codes (MQs from the inserts.........)

They'd had a coupon training class and were told that if the bar codes on the qs were the same, they were copies. So, I educated him right then and there. I explained the manufacturer coding, the coupon price coding and then showed him several IPs with the dotscan bar codes and their individual numbers and the :bulb: went on for him..........Who ever taught their coupon class didn't know their @ss from a hole in the ground. He thanked me over and over again and was very excited to share this new info with his peers..........;) Needless to say, all trips since then have been flawless.

That's the problem - the 2 bonus razors are the Slim Twin not the whole pack. Gilette razors screw me up all the time like that when they put the name of the bonus razors on the front of the pack and I'm not paying attention.

If you hadn't pointed that out, I never would have noticed. I had a cashier today that tried and tried to find a way to deny a peelie I had for the Slim Twin- neither of us noticed that! They certainly don't make it easy to see that the Slim Twin only applies to the bonus razors!

During the Walgreens $30 P&G someone accused Ms.Gal I believe of misusing a coupon for the Gillette razors and when I finally found the bonus packs like she had purchased - the bonus razors were the coupon razors. It's all very misleading (probably intentionally misleading so the consumer will buy it thinking the whole pack is Slim Twin) and I for one am usually so excited to find a good deal it clouds my attention to detail which brings me to...

I think the csw debate was because people were using a coupon for the cws when they were advertised free with the purchase of a toothbrush? Others argued the barcode was on the cws, but I didn't find any, so I haven't a clue, but there's a huge difference between abuse of a coupon *snip*

Ambiguous product packaging and wording on coupons that are more vague than my union contract. If two Fortune 500 companies (P&G and Walmart) can't find a way to comunicate effectively then I am not going to waste my time trying to figure it out. They leave all these loopholes to screw each other IMO.

The gift baskets are available online also. :)

I'm not going to waste my time trying to figure it out either, just typing my perception of the coupon. :) Yep, I believe the same about the loopholes, they are intentional. For those that have access to the Target coupon policy in the red book at customer service, it has wide gaps for perception differences. All intentional, I believe, so a SM or LOD can spin it whatever way they feel at the time.

So I PM'd RA's Crest Complete $2.99 get a $2 UP for $.99...well the csm comes over and says they can only give me the value of the "up" off their price which was $3.07...so I'd pay $1.07? Not sure how that's a "price match" but I just took it and moved on. Used my "o" from that to pay for my airwicks and a clearance lamp. They had tons of bedding and back to school stuff on clearance if you're in the market for that. Target does too. I got my son an adorable kids bedding set there earlier today for only $18!

Few things from today:

* I found a TP for B2G1 on Mars candy (if you shop Wags, these will come in handy the week of 10/9)

* I found the Vicks tissues. :whee:

* Check all around for the free Crave kitty treats, they aren't just on the shelf, they are on pegs hanging around the pet section as well.

* Don't just check the displays in the middle of the aisles for the Airwick. They are putting them back on the shelf now. ;)

* While looking for the TS Operation, I found a place on the shelf for Cars2 Operation for $2!!! The UPC is 65356959055. Here's the link to it online so you know what you are looking for: Cars 2 Operation (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Operation-Disney-Pixar-Cars-2-Edition/16225250)

I was informed today that my Wal-Mart won't accept multiples of internet coupons anymore. Only 1 per transaction. They said the reason was because you can get multiples from all the different couponing sites. I thought this was pretty stupid and I'm dreading having to do multiple transactions. The 3rd shift cashier always price matches for me without hassle and never gives me any trouble with coupons so it's usually always a quick trip.

They would not scan. Beep - nothing on screen. Cashier said she thought the first lady that tried had made them herself on her computer. She saw mine and said I guess they really are valid.

1.97 12 packs - same as pic posted on here earlier. I checked as soon as I got home.

I picked up some more Hasbro games today. Since the closest Big Lots is 60 miles away from my Walmarts, I showed the cashier/csm the Big Lots online TOY Sale price through my smart phone.
Big Lots sku #'s don't match Walmarts upc#'s but the picture was enough for them to PM.
Each game cost $1.00 AC.
I also was given permission to get some SORRY & Connect 4 games because BIG LOTS had 10 different sku#'s.
The CSM said she was going to get some games at the end of her shift too.
The store ad ends today so go out & get some $14.96 games for $1.

My WM's idea of clearance is changing the price tag to a red color at the same price.

That's about what my WM does. No rhyme or reason to clearance. I have found bargains on occasion but they are usually on seasonal items.

They have had 2 aisles of clearance toys for 3 months. I check every time I go in and the prices never change.

Last year they had an aisle full of school supplies and some of the clearance prices were higher than what you could purchase the same item for in the office supply aisle.

My favorite clearance item though is about 40 bottles of J&J no more tears shampoo (the trial size bottle) that have been holding at 2.79 for months. Any takers?

I think someone's store said they wouldn't PM because it's a "close-out" store. I've never had a problem either.

If you have a Farm & Fleet nearby you can PM Prestone antifreeze on front page. $9.74 and they have a peelie on them at wm wyb 1 get $7, or wyb 2 get $15 back by rebate. You must send the form and the receipt, and the aluminum foil from the bottle/seal. I usually do this deal every year to stock up. The regular price at wm is 12.87 each. The Prestone antifreeze 50/50 also has peelies but I didn't see them in the flyer and I like the 100% better, why pay for water?

Went to Walmart today. They wouldn't let me use the $6/2 Schick coupons, because "you can't get overage on a coupon, it's illegal" LOL On the plus side the aloe after sun rang up $5.38 instead of $5, so I got an extra $3 off, so nice with the $4 coupon. Also I saw Hawaiian Tropic After sun for $5, works well with the $4 Q.

do people not carry their coupon policies with them? technically, it's more illegal for them not to give it to you. :D

I agree. Next time you go to the store, snobunni, make sure you carry a copy of their policy. They tried to do the same with me ("it's illegal... blah blah blah") but I pulled up their policy on my smart phone. The look on their faces is totally worth it. There's no need to create a scene or anything. I usually just say "Mmhh, I thought the new policy allows for overage. Maybe the manager can pull up the policy". I've had to do that more than once and I've never raised my voice. Just seem confident about waht you're saying and don't back down.

I went to WalMart last week with some internet coupons for free yogurt. They nicely told me that it is no longer in their policy to accept Internet coupons IF they are for a FREE item. They accept regular internet coupons for cents off, but not for free items. They also had stapled packets of the new policies at everyone's registers. I was so disappointed-- I printed 40 copies!!! At least they were nice about it.

I did a recon run on these at my Walmart tonight, and I didn't see any that have this label. The only ones on the shelf (maybe 6 of them total), were just the starter kit and they were priced over $9 each. I looked for a pallet or display but didn't find anything.

Was thinking about making Walmart my first stop on Sunday morning instead of WAGS and CVS, to grab 10 of them. Has anyone actually seen a display of these in their store yet?

I went to WalMart last week with some internet coupons for free yogurt. They nicely told me that it is no longer in their policy to accept Internet coupons IF they are for a FREE item. They accept regular internet coupons for cents off, but not for free items. They also had stapled packets of the new policies at everyone's registers. I was so disappointed-- I printed 40 copies!!! At least they were nice about it.

You're the lucky one that has a Walmart that has the coupon policy posted at each register! That is my DREAM!!!
They do NOT accept Internet coupons for FREE items.

I happened to be in there today and spotted a sidecap of these around the corner from cleaning supplies, on their own little display. Currently priced 9.47... Hoping to see them at the low, low price mentioned previously. :) I too was considering running in Sunday morning ;)

I think someone's store said they wouldn't PM because it's a "close-out" store. I've never had a problem either.

I price matched the 2/$5 Fruit of the Loom undies without issue (saved $55 on 6 packs!)

This is mentioned in their coupon policy. That's why people had mentioned they would have preferred $1/1 coupons instead. That said, if you're talking about the Activia or Greek coupon that printed with your name on it, there was a limit and it wasn't 40. :nono:

At work & not much help on this right now, but thought I'd post the possible beginnings of a deal.

I see in the ad that starts on 10/2, there is a One-Time Offer for 3.97 on the following:
Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic No Touch Toilet Bowl Cleaner * Kit includes one 18oz refill and starter kit.
Looks like the box says Refill + FREE Holder.

I know there are some good Q's out there.
I hope its the new Walmart ad, I have been wanting to try these esp. with the $4 off coupon and I swear there is a $5 off q on one of the coupon printing sites, I dont know if the $5 one will match bc I didnt print it.

Q insert 9/11 SS2

The $4/1 Q is still printable here. Print (http://www.facebook.com/Scrubbingbubbles?sk=app_237054329659257)

The Activia or Greek coupon that printed with your name on it was a Facebook coupon that was one per Facebook account, you could print several unique coupons from one computer if you had accesses to your friends and family Facebook accounts. They do not sell this product where I live, at stores that take free coupons, so the one (not 40) I printed was useless too. I have no idea if this is the coupon the poster was using.

does WM issue rain checks?

TIA
Fine print on back of WM ad states they will issue a RC on advertised items (if not excluded or one time offer or whatever) as well as offer similar savings on a similar item or a substitution for the same price.

Now I've never asked for a RC at WM, but hypothetically they should be able to give you one. Normally I just PM to Target if WM is out of stock and its not involving overage.

I went to WalMart today (Houston area) and tried to do the price match on some items from this week's Walgreens and CVS ads. I tried to price match some of the very items others in this thread said they were price matching and the manager would not let me. They were the prices AFTER the register rewards and ECB's. The prices were $1 and $3.99, but they wouldn't do it. Are others really getting the price match on this? What gives?

I've been PMing at numerous Walmarts this way without incident. There would be no point to PMing to those stores if it was before ECBs or RRs because Walmart's regular price is usually better than those stores anyway. I would tell them that the next time. ;)

I tried this once and got shot down. Even had the ad with me. They said they wouldn't price match any store using a rewards card. I thought that was stupid because Kroger and Marsh requires cards and they price match them. I think they knew I was getting a good deal and didn't want to push it through.

My store used to fight the AFTER RR price but I finally convinced them that the sale price of an item (in most cases), is the price I receive after a RR or UP or ECB. Those are the incentives given by the OTHER store to get me to shop there. If WM wants my business (and Corporate swears they do), then they need to offer the after incentive price, too.

Look for the special promotional version of the box -- it is mostly green with some yellow on the right side, and it reads "Refill + Free Holder: Complete System Included in the Box". This version rings up $3.97. Most likely, if it doesn't have the yellow on the right of the box, it's not the promotional kit.

Thanks for the UPC! I'll be able to call tomorrow and check stock. Stopped by tonight after a late dinner and watching the FL/AL game at the bar, and my store had absolutely zero in stock. Even had the dept mgr check in the back. Both trucks Food & GM had already been unloaded and they didn't have any - no special displays, no pallets/skids - nothing.

Supposedly tomorrow's truck comes in about 6pm, so I'll check then.

Good luck to everyone else!

The WM Price Match policy actually states that they match loyalty card prices...

We gladly match the price in the following types of ads:*

Buy one, get one free ads with a specified price
Example: Buy one for $2.49, get one free (BOGO)
Competitors' ads that feature a specific item for a specified price.
Preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad.
For fresh produce and meat items when the price is offered in the same unit type (lb. for lb.; each for each)

Had a laugh today. Cashier tells me that she doesn't understand why someone would spend 2 hours clipping coupons to save a few dollars when they could be spending that time with their kids. All the while, I am thinking ok you are here working 8hrs away from your kids, while I am sitting at home with my kids clipping coupons so that I don't HAVE to work. But ok whatever. I understand that some people just do not understand the savings involved in couponing, but it was really annoying. I really just bit my tongue and told her that it was ok cause my kids are in school during the day and since I don't HAVE to work, I can clip all the coupons I want..all day, if I want. And my kids really won't care that I spent a few hours clipping cpns when they are at Disneyworld on vacation with the money I have saved. LOL
My DH said wow you were really nice to her. (compared to what I could have been).
BTW..my kids are 18 and 15 so I am sure they would much rather me be clipping cpns than up in their business all the time. HEHE

On topic: Found Biz 16ct Blast Packs for $4 minus $2cpn=$2. Good deal for me cause DH would be more willing to use these than measuring out powder. LOL
