Signature rules

Is there a rule about how big the text can be in your signature? I have seen members with signatures that are very large and distracting when reading a thread.

There is a 500 character limit to signatures. As to text size, I am not sure. I would suppose if you see something reslly big (like say, the max text size of 7 or something) that is probably a bit much, and you may want to mod alert it. :)

you can disable signatures through your usercp if you so choose. we like to let users express themselves with their sig and have compromised. only so much of it shows up without getting cut off, and it only shows up once per page.
