One Time tips
I. On the Sony Rewards site, go to Your Account > Your Profile > Communications and make sure the following are checked:
Yes, I would like to participate in Wheel Watchers Club activities and receive a SPIN ID.
Yes, I would like to receive information from SPT and other events, promotions and sweepstakes from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
click update to update your profile (these changes are needed to play the daily games for points).
II. From the main page of Sony Reward website, there is an invite friend link (javascript, towards bottom of page). Click the link, and add an email address you can check (@mailinator works great for this).
Wait for the invite to come to your alternate email address, follow the instructions (sign up for).
You will get 25 points for sending the invite and 50 points for joining! This gives you 375 points total if you use your full allotment of 5 invintes!
III. Create a wishlist for 50 points
IV. Answer the questionnaire in your profile for 50 Points. Your Account>Your Profile>Questionnaire (LAST TAB)

He is very right.. No more of this $hit.. Way back in March, I called them and asked that I havent received anything in email but I learnt about theis 10,000 point promo on Internet, am I eligible and that retarded CSR told me sure you are, even gave me the URL to check it out.. And now they are telling me that they had no way to tell before July who was eligible and who wasn't.. So they were just feeding us BS all this time and telling us to be patient.. She got an earful from me that day.. and I do keep on calling them and yelling at them whenever I have nothing better to do.. They messed around with me for so long.. now its payback time..

Ya, I do ... these points doing these games and invites immediately add to my points ... so there is no doubt.
As for the 10,000 points, who knows ... all one can do is write the FTC, BBB and Atty Generals.
As it can take these organizations up to 6 weeks to get any results, I am far from throwing in the towel.

brilliant! but your math is a little off...30pts/day x 30 days is 900 points, unless the daily questions aren't really daily. +40 for the weekly would be 940 total. where's the discrepancy? and it just allowed me to do 5 invites.

60 days from purchase date. With the increased demand, I would send the purchase credit in @30-40 days just to be sure. Not worth losing $21 just to get another dollar.

What really sucks is that only a certain number of points can be used towards items (unless you have well over 10,000 points), so when you want the gift card, you have to pay $16 or so just to get the $25 gift card. I wonder if all the hassle is really worth it?

Was worth it to me. Bought a PS3 from Sonystyle, (gave 2000 points at 5x points) and then did the trivia and other things for points for a month and half and got a $31 purchase credit applied to my account.

2) I do not think there is any other shipping charge. I order all the time and never have gotten a charge. However, I do have sony card.

I mean, why stop at 30% off 3k in gift cards.. You can also order PS3's at 30% off eh?
Dang, seems like I should be buying 10K in lowes gift cards.. for my house remodel.. 30% off, then use the 10% movers coupon.. jeeeez.

I usually check the site weekdays after work. By then both the WoF and SPT questions are posted. These are the only two dailies, the WoF 25th anniversary question appears to be weekly and the polls are random.
However, don't forget to do the Sony product registration for 2500 free points, check the blu-ray club page for occasional polls, etc, and update your wish list every month for some more points.
Been doing this for 2-3 months, hope that helps.

Do you have a sony card or playstation card? If you do, just go buy it in stores and get a credit for it. That is what I do for a lot of my purchases cause it makes sense when you get a slickdeals on a PS3 game to just get it for free from points.

Yea, you still get credit. You can't buy from ebay but you can get it from any store. The process is like this
1) Go buy it and save your receipt
2) Copy your reciept
3) Go online at sonyrewards.com and go under your account. There should be a link for
"View Purchase Credit Form."
4) Fill out the form and print it out
5) Send it in
6) Wait 4-6 weeks (They dont credit faster to make sure you don't return)
7) You will get a deduction on your bill for the same amount
8) Do a little dance :lmao:
Been doing this for a while. So, worth it because of all the free points. Got so many free games from it :) If you need anymore help, just PM me.

I realize this is an old thread but I think it'll be relevant for all the people that applied for the Sony CC.
Is the 500 points offer for registering Sony product not working for anyone else? After I register, I don't see any link that redirects me to Sony rewards for the 500 points like other people have reported.
I also did not see any linkage between product registration and points accumulation. I registered a Sony item anyways as a test, and no points were added. I suspect that the linkage between product registration and points has been removed. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah I think they removed it...

There is no longer a questionnaire. I did however get 25 points each for 5 invites as well as 40 points for creating a wish list.

i get tons of points doing this. you get 40 points for jeopardy, 20 for wof, 20 for sony pictures televison and 20 for flashbacks. 100 points every weekday.
It's easy to get the 2000 or so points need for blu-rays.

I register my product, but no points. The email for 5 friends still work and its 25 points each.
I now have 777 points after the initial 20K.
Trying to get as much points as possible like up to $250, then I will my new Sony Vaio YB for only $250.

What are you talking about, no one cheats. LOL
Just google "sony rewards jeopardy answers" and you'll have all the answers. There are many websites that post up the answers daily.

What is that spinning thing with points and you hit the SPACE BAR for strength.
Then what do you do after the spin and how do you use it?

I should have play more earlier.
I already sent it my mail to get $ credit. That takes up to 60 days? Hopefully I can play longer to pay off more. I am paying my mininum balance.

What happen when Sony put my points on hold because I am using it to convert points to cash on that day? The days after it was hold, can any new points be still added?

Nope. If they were on hold they only get put back into your account. Will not get applied toward your purchase credit. Make sure you're not playing games/contest when submitting a cash redemption.
BTW does anyone know if registering sony products still gives 500 points?

I got my cash reward confirmation today:
$489.99 - ( $14.70 FW) - 241.57 = $233.72 for a new Sony Vaio YB
I think I am going to continue playing on that website.

You can kiss this game goodbye!
All that is left now is the solve the phrase thing.
Blame it on hard economic time and Whats in your Wallet Bank.

this is dying pretty hard...
No one seems to have brought up here that Sony (villains that they are) deleted the entire message board a few weeks ago. Now there's nowhere to go for the "daily answers." But did someone migrate it to a non-Sony hosted site?
