The threads i participate in dont show up in my subscribed threads in my profile...

sometimes i try to go to an older thread, and i cant find it. i check to where my subscribed threads should be and they dont show up there.

is this just the way the site works?

Did you subscribe to the threads or try clicking on the "View All Subscribed Threads" link in your user cp? The threads only show up when there are new replies or if you click on the view subscribed threads it'll show all the threads with a reply within the last 30 days.

how do you subscribe to a thread... besides posting in it?

and yea, i click "view all subscribed threads" and nothing shows up

To subscribe to a thread, click on the "Subscribe to this Thread" link at the bottom of every thread. It is right below the "Submit Reply Box"

You don't automatically subscribe by posting to a thread.
