you dont post VIN because carfax will cancel the account that pulls the number.

It's usually better if you don't post the VIN publicly. CarFax monitors this site and makes a note of all the VIN's that people post. When a nice SD'er runs a report for you, CarFax cancels their account.

CarFax employees monitor this site. They make note of any VIN's that are posted. When someone runs that VIN for you, CarFax cancels their account due to a violation of their Terms of Service.
