Looks like they started a new rewards program. This ones goes on till Fed. 2010. You are only aloud 800 points per month this time and the GC cost more.

How do you know that your only allowed 800 points per months. Is it mentioned in FAQ or something?

The old program ended June 23 so all of you points went to 0. Now they started new one. If i remember correctly from the terms and conditions you are only aloud 140 in Junes and 800 for each month after that.

Their new promotion period ends Feb 5th, 2010.. it started June 24th, and since June/February will both have lesser points-per-month values, the maximum points from this promotion during the entire period is around 7,000 since you can only earn around 1,000 per month.

Those 15,000 point prizes are pointless.

Stay active on the Web site and you can earn up to 800 points every month. No UPCs required.

That's what the site says. So the point earning limit is 800 without UPC codes.
With UPC codes and bonus codes the sky is the limit. If you did both and used all the
methods to earn free points each month (800) and also entered UPCs then your point
balance can go way up. :)

Don't even bother with this. I finally got enough points to get a $5 amazon card. Printed out the form and mailed it in. Got an email from them requesting a copy of my government issued id. Not for $5 will I be mailing a copy of that.

I just received a notebook from Mead for a 1000 pts. Got all of my points on their website. I think that there is a limit of 800 pts per month.

Easy way to pick up points:

Go to the parent's section, then click on a link that says Project Recipes, Click on any of the 5 points links. You can repeat this any many times as you want.

Yes, it says Feb. 5. If you don't have any points, I think that the best you can get is a notebook. Do 800 points this month and then 200 in January.

You have mail in a form from their website when you are ready to redeem. Took about 3 weeks for me to receive my notebook. I still have enough points to go for a $5 BB or Starbucks GC. haha!

Just redeemed my points for a starbucks gc, when I clicked the submit and print button, it just redirected me to another mead page and dint print the form even though my printer was hooked up. Anyone else have same problem? Have they changed the program so that we dont need to mail them the form?

Yes, I had the same problem and mead won't fix the problem either because they have in their FAQ's that if the form does not print then you can hand print your information on a piece of paper and mail it to them. Please tell me I'm not crazy and that they changed this. I did my redemption yesterday thinking I was going to forget to do it by Feb. 5. I messed up last program and lost about 6000 points (and all the time it took to earn it) so I wanted to be sure to get it in in time. Now, it suddenly extended the date to April 9 with no notice posted that I could see.

I also had the issue with the redemption form not printing. I don't know why it doesn't send something to your email to confirm. I thought maybe since I wasn't submitting receipts that I didn't need the form but from this thread, I guess I should hand write myself one. Last time I thought I had ordered 4 of the Amazon e-certs and only got 1 so I'm not a huge fan of redemptions from this site.

Anyway, for those still earning and who haven't rushed their redemption, I guess we can now earn another 1600 points this way.

Sweet. I never went on for a while so my many thousand points were erased. My technique of getting a lot of points was to do the two cent poll thing for 10 and refresh. Then I would go to the place where you can download templates and stuff and opened all that had point values in a new tab. Then I would close then all except for one, which I would use to get back to the site/refresh to get my new points. Then you can always actually "play" the games.

Nope. Not a lot of effort at all. You don't even have to buy anything. You get 1000 points for signing up then log in the first of every month and do quizzes in the teacher or student section until you rack up the monthly limit. By next year you should have enough for a gift card.

Apparently the rules have been updated slightly for the final 'year'. You can only earn 650 point for the month of July 2011, but can earn 800 each month after until the program ends for a total of 7,050 points, plus the 1000 bonus. (UPC points are separate.) Still a good deal.

Yep. And you only have to log in the one day of every month and spend less than 5 minutes on the site. One word: quizzes.

The only thing I don't like this year is the rule about sending the request form registered or certified mail or something. That will eat into the $20 but still worth it for so little time.

There's a glitch with the quizzes right now. Which is fine by me. You just take the Soil quiz which is only 2 questions and keep reloading the page and the points rack up. This year though it just hangs there while loading but if you refresh you still rack up the points. :lol:

Looking at the activities most are valued at around 5 points so unless your dumping all your money on mead products you would have to live on this site until march 2012 to get a decent gift card. Even if you do that you would have to save every single receipt, print it, and mail it out... The best part is your points are already registered online.

That is like saying i order something on Amazon and pay for it online, then i have to print out my order and mail it in before they can process it.... I don't know what era mead is living in.

That happens with me too, they don't actually load, but I was still credited with points after just opening and letting them sit on the loading page for a little bit. Worked with multiple tabs for me actually in Chrome...

You're not cheating the system, it has a glitch. Even if it didn't, the soil quiz with 2 questions takes about as long. Stick around SD a few more years and you'll see how it is worth your time to do promos like this. If you don't think so then dang are you on the wrong website! :lol:
