I just found out about this today. I purchased a mead notebook and on it, it said that you could collect points to redeem for things. They have a few GC and some other cool things.
You have to go through the site and search for the icons that let you know you will get points for viewing that section (see attachment). Look in wiki for FAQ's.

How do I enter a UPC code into my Mead Money Madness account?
In order to enter a UPC into your Mead Money Madness account, you must be logged in. Once you are logged in, go to the Rewards & Offers section of the site. Once there, you will see a tab that is labeled “Enter UPCs.” Click on “Enter UPCs,” and follow the directions. Be sure that you save the receipts for every purchased product you enter. You will need to send in the receipts to claim your reward.

I accidentally entered the wrong UPC into my Mead Money Madness Account.
You can delete UPCs from your account. Simply access your account info and locate the Points Activity chart. Click the “Delete” button associated with the UPC you would like to remove. When you delete a UPC from your account, the points associated with that product will also be deleted.

I entered my UPC, but the system is telling me that it’s invalid.
First, please check to make sure that you entered all 12 digits of the UPC. Second, please check to make sure that you did not invert any of the numbers. If you did enter all the digits correctly, and you are still receiving an error message, please contact us and provide the following information:

Your full name and email address
Your username on the account
UPC that is appearing as invalid
What product that UPC corresponds to
How many Mead Money Madness points that product is worth
When and where you purchased the product

What can I do with all the points I’ve got?
You can redeem your points for the rewards you want. In order to see how many points you have, and what rewards you are eligible for, please log-in to your account and go to the Rewards Gallery.

Do I have to send in my receipts in order to claim my reward Item?
Yes! You must submit your receipts, along with your completed Rewards Redemption form, in order to receive your reward item. For more details, please review the Terms and Conditions.

Where do I send my receipts if I live in Canada?

Thanks for posting this. I've registered and been poking around a bit, and found a few things that suggests their website needs work, though.

For one thing, I did a couple of on-site point offers in Firefox, and a couple using Internet Explorer. They tallied seperately until I'd logged out of both and then back in with one of them.

Second, if you accumulate enough points to print out a certificate to mail in and get your reward, make sure to print it out in IE or a IE tab in Firefox; if you just print it from within Firefox, it gets screwed up coming out the printer.

Once you print out a certificate to mail in, the points you used for it get tallied under "Pending", but don't get subtracted from what you've earned. So just be aware. And since they go to pending once you've printed something out, I hope they'll be able to decipher the somewhat garbled printout that Firefox made for me, since those points are now "Pending".

Also, it appears that you can get credit over and over for the same thing. For example, I did one of their "two cents" polls, got the 10 points for it, and accidentally clicked the "refresh" button instead of my "back" button, and it added another 10 points, even though I hadn't done another "two cents" poll.

Nope -- if you look at their FAQ page, it says:

Have you tried logging out and then logging back in? I got stuck at 600, and then I logged out. When I logged back in, I was able to keep earning points.

If you are earning points by entering UPCs of Mead products, you will need to save them along with the receipts to send along when you redeem your points. But you can earn points alternately earn points by browsing their website. These points don't need any UPCs or receipts as proof, just your time to mess around with their site.

got an email from mead today and it said they noticed i went over the allotted points for the month of august. this is when they had the glitch and was able to get more than 1450 points. they are going to roll back my points immediately to the allotted cap of 1450 points. although i signed into my account and nothing has happened of as yet. it goes on to say, if reward redemption requests were submitted, a letter would be received stating that the request could not be fulfilled due to the over allotted points. maybe this explains why i only received one $5 gift card instead of the two i requested.

I cashed out for my first gift card in October...when I checked my account today, they have debited the number of points for the card (I selected a $15 Target card) and so we will see how long it takes. There is some interesting things on the site...but it is so easy to rack up the allowed points each month. I can get another $15 gift card with no more purchases and will likely do that in January when I get the points needed

That just means it is good on both sites. You'll notice that the Target giftcards say "Not available in Canada."

The problem is that if you added stuff into the cart and checkout. The points are now pending. If you messed up (like me), you pretty much gotta wait now.

It hard to say.

I've sent in 3-4 redemption to them and only received 1 of the 3ish.

It seems they will only send one... but a few people have received multiple GC. So its really hard to say. :O

You can add more than one certificate to the cart before you print the form. That is what I did when I did a redemption this month...Sent in on 1/2 and received yesterday. Very fast, I thought...2 amazon certificates back to back in my e-mail.

I am having a similar problem. :confused: I'm not sure what the problem is. The maximum points for a month is supposed to be 1450. It won't let me earn any more than 570 this month. (at least so far.) It is only the first of the month.

Do you think maybe they've changed the rules of points per month or per day?

The points carry over, so the third month you can cash out for $10.

The only thing waiting to cash out does is save you a stamp, there isn't a better value for the points by waiting. I am sending them in each month as you never know when programs will get dropped and turning a 42¢ stamp into $5 is good enough for me.

Did you print the forms and mail them in? You have to mail in forms. If you don't mail in the form for the prize you won't get it and that might be why they added back the points? :cool: :confused:

I did mail in both forms. I mailed it in a bit late may be after 15 days for the first redemption and immediately for the second one. I tried called customer support but it always says busy. Also, do you know if its ok to have two accounts in one household (one for me and one for my husband)?

My mom sent in a form and just got a letter saying the form didn't say what reward she had chosen. You can't print out the form until after you have chosen the reward. It says once she earns enough to chose another reward to mail the letter back with the request. I don't know why they didn't just put the points back in her account. I am going to see her this weekend, so I can read the letter.

well i guess i should clarify my post a bit. the $5 amazon gift card i had already received was from a different redemption form i sent in months ago. this was sometime back in 2008. i forget how long it took to get the redemption code for the gift card via email but i was simply saying that just to confirm that this is still something that works. that sucks that you only got one back even though you sent two. we will see if i get all 4 of mine.

well just to update you guys i got all 4 of my $5 amazon claim codes in one envelope a few days ago. not sure how long it took total but i want to say around a month. last time i got one $5 amazon code through email so i guess they are sending via regular mail now.

Does anyone know if the $5 amazon gift card and $10 best buy gift card will be in stock anytime soon? Its been out of stock for some time now. Also, does anyone know how many max points we can earn in June, I dont think it is the usual 1450 points.

I don't think that the cards that are out of stock will be restocked (hope I'm wrong). The program is almost over so unless they are going to extend it I don't see them restocking the cards. On another note they have removed the tests in the quiz gallery. I don't know if it's a glitch but it's not coming up for me. I can create a test but no option to take tests.

Looks like they started a new rewards program. This ones goes on till Fed. 2010. You are only aloud 800 points per month this time and the GC cost more.

Oh wow..the program ended on June 23 and all your points were invalid after that date. It is now a new program where you start again from zero. Sorry. You can read the FAQs on the site but i'm pretty sure those points are gone.
