They are also sending accessories for it. All materials must be returned at the end of the study (I assume this includes the Palm Pilot) and then payment of $60 will be issued.

For Future Reference

If you have redeemed for an amazon GC and have not recieved it in a timely manner through your email, you do have access to it without the email.

Follow the steps below which will help you locate your code. I actually just did this because I redeemed for a GC 6 days ago and never got my email with the code in it.
You can view your certificate through you account at all times.


1- Sign in to your “Lightspeed Consumer Panel” account.

2- Select the “Lightspeed Points Account” link at the top of the screen.

3- Select the “Redeem” button.

4- Now go to the “Rewards Account” section.

5- Then change the date range at the top of the page to include the date the order was placed and click “go”.

6- Then click on the order number link and then the “View E-cert” link.

7- This will allow you to view the actual certificate sent to you including the code.

HTHs those having trouble getting their certificate when the site is not having technical issues. :)

Yes it is an every day thing for like 2 weeks. Only takes a few minutes a day, but DANG!!!

They take like 3 months to give you the other part of the promised incentive.

I got in that lightspeed survey for the digital pictures online - I did all these pictures, posted them - was supposed to get 1000 points, never did. I wrote to them, never got a reply.

Sounds like you've had pretty bad luck with them. They have always paid me quickly. I got an *extra* $10 (Visa Card) with the $60 study that they didn't even tell me I was getting.

I'm done with the mobile surveys though, unless they tell me before I take it that there are point involved.

I had a similar problem with the digital pictures. Try calling them at 877-721-5118. They were very helpful. Sometimes my points don't credit right away. I keep really good records and have made almost $400 this year. hth

File a complaint with surveypolice.com. You have to register, but it's free. I filed a complaint against Mindfield last week, and after some back-and-forthing, got credit for 2 surveys that I completed and they were going to deny.

That was a good idea. Have you tried calling? I s/w Therese last time and she was wonderful. Serioously doubt "Lauren" even exists, just a way to make things seem more personalized imho. I have NEVER received an email back so never go that route anymore.

I'll try them again. When I stopped using Zoom a few years ago it was because there was a huge dry spell on PTs and they only paid in crappy prizes. I'll go back to them for the PTs though.

You could try calling them at 877-721-5118 (new jersey)
I got the # from www.surveypolice.com which is a great place to get info about many panels, file complaints and read complaints that people have filed. I saw that some lightspeed members are having similar problems. hth

just got off the phone with lightspeed lauren does not exist haha i asked i asked why no one responded when i called then the other morning to find out why i had not gotten any surveys since i wrote to the head honcho a ahedde. their response "i accdedntly got kicked out of the system." as they say timing is everything. hope this helps anyone i should be getting surveys any day now so they say. so we will see.

That happens to me on a fairly regular basis [and did so with this survey as well]. I always send an email to ahedde@lightspeedresearch.com and lauren@us.lightspeedpanel.com - since I never know which is the better one to use - with a subject line 'Survey#17672 Didn't Receive Points' with a brief explanation in the email about the problem and date I took the survey and whatnot and I've always had the points credited to me within a week or so. Last time they didn't even reply, the points just showed up in the account.

You have to log on, go to your points account, go into redeem, and use the contact us button. this is for perks.com, the company that handles their rewards. Unless you already did that too, in which case I have not been helpful! I did have to e-mail them twice but I did get my amazon cash. Good luck!

Well, I just got off the phone with Noah at Lightspeed, very, very helpful. My account was rejected by aol(spam) but he will reinstate, This same thing happened woth ACOP and then I switched to FF. So anyone not getting surveys may want to try that. Also, found out there is NOT a Lauren. IT handles survey payout problems but they do not reply to technical issues. The response above by shannonmnk is correct. Contacting Perks.com through Lightspeed is the only way to resolve the payment issues. Noah said that they are aware of the problem because of all of the emails. He is assuming that Perks had to re-order a batch of Amazons.?? Idk that could be bs, but is possible. Anyway to sum this up, I suggest calling Lightspeed at 877-721-5118. hth some.

Well, I just got off the phone with Noah at Lightspeed, very, very helpful. My account was rejected by aol(spam) but he will reinstate, This same thing happened woth ACOP and then I switched to FF. So anyone not getting surveys may want to try that. Also, found out there is NOT a Lauren. IT handles survey payout problems but they do not reply to technical issues. The response above by shannonmnk is correct. Contacting Perks.com through Lightspeed is the only way to resolve the payment issues. Noah said that they are aware of the problem because of all of the emails. He is assuming that Perks had to re-order a batch of Amazons.?? Idk that could be bs, but is possible. Anyway to sum this up, I suggest calling Lightspeed at 877-721-5118. hth some.

I just had to call them again. They got my problem straightened out on 3/26, and reversed my Amazon to Paypal. I redeemed again on 4/3. I was able to check from your instructions and see that Perks canceled my transaction again. I'm not sure if they thought it was the same order from 3/26 or not, but Lightspeed is researching it.

In the last 3 days I have recieved 2 seperate surveys, both dealing with cell phones. At the end of the first survey I recieved a neilson invite that would pay $10 initially and $5 more after they monitered my phone for 1 year, honestly I felt this was chinsey and I was not interested in having my phone monitered for a year. That being said today I got another survey that was almost exactly the same and ended in the same invite from neilson, only this time it was for $20 up front and $10 at the end of the year. Personally I am sill not interested but if you are maybe you should hold out for the second offer.

i got right in and talked to a human being didn't ask.(ps. i pretend i don't have a push button phone and that usually takes me to an operator), so good luck. i found out by clearing out my cookies also helped and trying a different computer not safari which hubby uses but firefox and got right in cause i had the same problems. good luck have fun trying to talk to "lauren"

Seeing this thread reminded me I haven't gotten any surveys from Lightspeed in a while so I thought I'd log in and take a look and whaddyaknow, my info isn't in their database anymore either. I too was almost at the point of cashing out [$5 PayPal], around 550 points.

Deleting cookies and using different browsers did not work for me, nor do I understand why that would even be an issue now since I never clear the cookies and always used Mozilla and this has never once been a problem in my 10 months of using Lightspeed. Plus it seems highly odd that this problem is happening to a bunch of people who were on the verge of cashing out at the same time.

Guess I will have to contact 'Lauren.' Then later I'll call up my good pal the Easter bunny and we'll go ride some unicorns :lol:

Hey just a heads up...I logged in today to redeem my points for an amazon gift card, and on the checkout page, noticed that under my name, there was a completely different address! Not that it would matter since I was redeeming electronic gift cards, but still...someone got into my account, and I have no idea how. Just a heads up to check and make sure your address hasn't been changed. Mine was changed to an Arizona address.

a hard reset will revert everything to store bought and will act brand new.

step 2. while holding the power button down, hit the reset button on the back with the stylus. let go of the reset button. but keep holding down the power button until you see a msg on the screen.

step 3. press up on the dpad when asked to do so to accept the format of the unit and start fresh.

if you like to, and can. you can connect it to your pc and backup everything in case you change your mind.

The one thing I don't like about them are their point to reward ratios are almost pathetically low. A lot of surveys they send are 75 points for 20-30 minutes which, in relation to their reward system, means you're only getting around $.65 - that's just ridiculous for that amount of time. So even though you may be cashing out quickly, you're really getting much less for your time as you would on other survey sites.

I just replied to my follow up email inquiring about this, that's insane if they send us a product(s) to test and then boot us when it comes time to do the follow up questions. How are they going to complete their research if panel members cannot give feedback on the products.

Well, I just got off the phone with Noah at Lightspeed, very, very helpful. My account was rejected by aol(spam) but he will reinstate, This same thing happened woth ACOP and then I switched to FF. So anyone not getting surveys may want to try that. Also, found out there is NOT a Lauren. IT handles survey payout problems but they do not reply to technical issues. The response above by shannonmnk is correct. Contacting Perks.com through Lightspeed is the only way to resolve the payment issues. Noah said that they are aware of the problem because of all of the emails. He is assuming that Perks had to re-order a batch of Amazons.?? Idk that could be bs, but is possible. Anyway to sum this up, I suggest calling Lightspeed at 877-721-5118. hth some.

I have something like over 6,000 points but their GC section for redemption is pretty bad. I wish they'd just have the option for certain dollar amounts and then you get to choose which merchant you want the card for. I did redeem some points a while back for a CVS gift card but I haven't seen it listed since.

on the bottom right, theres a drop down menu and you can choose the retailer you want to get a gift card from, it has more options under there- I usually search that way instead of the larger selection on the right side and the 1-2000 points (or whatever) selection.

(greenfield i got 4 bucks out of 8 hours of surveys and they owe me 13 dollars and they don't respond to my emails at first they did that I was wrong than I screenshoted the promo that if every survey for .50 you get for doing it. Survey spot just sweepstakes no money at all 3 bucks for doing about 10 hours of surveys. Globalmarket is ok I get points for surveys I do, I just join myview I got 4 bucks I hope i get them and it gets better mysurvey 5 bucks apparently I had to complain cuz i got paid one dollar when i was promised 5 I won at the end) So I think the best there is at the moment is lighting panel for me.

i like lightspeed, mysurvey and marie brighton they pay good and promptly. i have never had problems with them.

I've been with them for a while and have tested quite a few products through them. I'm doing a year(?) long survey currently where I record purchases of greeting cards, gift wrap, etc. Every time I complete a recording period I receive 1,000 points.

It takes a lot of points to actually cash out so if you are looking to make money easily it may not be for you. I mainly enjoy getting to try new products which is why I stay with them.

I just called Customer Service because I've been having issues w/ the fragrance survey and I never recieved the shampoo/conditioner survey. Honestly- their customer service couldn't be any nicer.

Apparently the survey had glitches and either the project manager or the programmer wasn't able to fix them- but she assured me that everyone who got the pt of the shampoo will get credited their points for using it- and if you haven't please call them and they will fix it.

They removed me once for having double accounts which wasn't true. When I tried to contact them they never replied. My IP must have changed and matched someone elses or something. I signed up through that banner and it restored my old account so I hope they don't just remove me again. I'm a great member to have!

It depends on how you answer the questions, if you didn't answer the questions for what they are looking for, you don't get the PT
