You would have to inquire as to whether the surveys have closed to determine whether or not they should have credited yet.

Okay yeah I saw that the other day. I will give them a little more time before I ask. I believe it's only 2-3 dollars but its the principle of it. I don't like some of the surveys they send me. A couple of them have been from OTX and one of them was to install a toolbar into my computer.

I am not sure how long they usually keep their surveys open or how long it actually takes them to credit once they do close because even though I have been with MindField for a long time... for some reason I almost never qualify for their surveys. When I have qualified I didn't really pay attention to dates because the rewards were so small and I qualified so infrequently that I hardly ever checked my balance. OTX surveys are usually bad news (no matter which company you get them from). They float around forever (take forever to close) and half the time when you complete one (or it seems like you have completed it) it likes to reroute you to another survey without giving you a completion screen or taking you back to the original survey site.

It's very common for surveys to take 2-3 MONTHS to credit. There's no point in even following up before 2 months have passed.

Is there any way to do one of the Mindfield surveys if they don't send an email to you? I try to do all that they send and am thankful for each one I qualify for. I think sometimes with Mindfield and other companies that we sometimes qualify for a survey, complete it, and return "home." But then later we don't get credit because the quoto was filled. Seems in this day of such advanced technology if you qualify and "complete" the survey, you would receive credit.

I have found Mindfield to be helpful and gracious in answering any questions I have about credits and payments. Their online system that you can view is pretty good, too.

My system for keeping up with surveys is:
1. If I don't qualify, I delete the email invitation
2. If I do qualify, I save the email in a folder in my email designated for that particular company.
3. When I get an email that Pinecone or some other company has PayPal'd me my payment, I put the "paid" email in a special email folder titled "paid."

I also was keeping a nice little spreadsheet that detailed my payments in check or gift card format and also my product tests and their value. This was very helpful at tax time. However, I lost all my spreadsheet information when my computer got that terrible trojan mess a couple of months ago. I had to completely reinstall my entire computer system and rebuild the computer. I wish I had one of those nifty programs that can look deep into the recesses of your hard drive and find lost stuff.

You can get one of those programs for about $100... which might or might not be worth it depending on what you lost.

What you really DO need to get is an external hard drive to back your financial records and other vital stuff up on. AND, keep screen caps as proof of completion of EVERYTHING; that's how you'll get paid when they later try to claim that you didn't complete the survey.

Has anyone received payment on study 20104360? I was told that it ended on 8/20/10 and would pay within 10-14 business days.

Hi, thanks for the response. Yes, I just checked my account a minute ago and I've got an extra $40.00 in there ready to cash out! It appears as though they are paying $40 and not the $20 I was told they would pay. They are doing maintenance on the site for thanksgiving day. I saw a notification the other day when I logged in to check and then last week in a few of the surveys I took, they had a header that said it might be down for a bit. That's still weird that the site is kind of gone, usually places just have that "we're down" message.

I think some of these companies do the old bait and switch routine, they collect all of our data and info for a study then say oops sorry we are full for you demographics. they got what they wanted and need and we get nada.

Makes you wonder according to them i have earned $43 since Sept 2005 but there is a huge amount of them that say over quota which means i spent 20 mins on a survey for $1 to end up with nothing.

I seriously wonder if i was really over quota or they are simply not paying people for the data. I think i will keep a close eye on what surveys i do from now on even if its time consuming.

Why on Earth would you waste 20 minutes on a $1 survey? With the exception of surveys for pt's and higher-paid sessions, you should never accept less than $6/hour.
Because it said it is 10 mins and once your in the middle of it its kindof hard to quit because the next question might be the final one.

Makes you wonder according to them i have earned $43 since Sept 2005 but there is a huge amount of them that say over quota which means i spent 20 mins on a survey for $1 to end up with nothing.

I seriously wonder if i was really over quota or they are simply not paying people for the data. I think i will keep a close eye on what surveys i do from now on even if its time consuming.


The good thing about them is that they send a lot of of cool product tests. That's the main reason I do their surveys.:lol:

my GF and i both live in the same house and both have accounts with them
they dont send us the same surveys
she has her own email address and we dont /havent had any issues at all

we also have seperate PC's ,that may make a differance as well

Some of the companies get family/household member information when you sign up. Example: Do you have a spouse? Y/N = Y , 82 y/o male.

They will then, to the same email address, send surveys "For the 82 y/o male at this at this account." So then the 82 y/o male does the survey.

If you put in your information that you have teens in the household, they might send an address for the teen. Then you as the parent decide if you want your teen to participate.

Some companies allow one adult per household. Period. So it might benefit you to contact the company for which you want others in the household to participate to determine if more than one adult is allowed and how to accomplish that.

I doubt I'll ever do a survey or anything from them again.

Apparently, I didn't get a few emails for two diaries I was completing, I did the work every time I needed to entering information, but however since I didn't get the emails they claim I did, I disqualified from the diaries, even though it allowed me to keep on entering information, which I did whenever was necessary.

Not saying which they are, as I don't want to get in trouble, but I just don't think it's right. We'll see if I get credited or not, if I don't might contact the BBB (which they are a registered member of, so they should respond).

I was going to use this to pay my internet for the month, now I have no clue where that will be coming from. Will likely have to beg family for money, which they can't afford as we're low working class.

Reminds me of when you do long surveys, then are disqualified after 30 minutes, but to a much worse extent.

I just logged into my mindfield account and was surprised to see that now we can redeem for Amazon gcs!!!! V happy that they added this option.

hope they still will mail checks, a lot of the other survey co's stopped doing that in the last year or so. I deposit the checks into a separate little savings account I use specifically for travel, almost have 3k. gonna use it for airfare to hawaii!
