I know I'm posting a bunch of these "official" threads lately, but I much prefer to have a single thread that I can sticky to the top of my page for each survey site, than a ton of individual posts.

MySurvey.com normally offers surveys for 10 - 25 points, then increases the points to 200 - 1,000 if you qualify for the entire study.

The site offers a lot of unusual studies, which seem to pop up repeadly over the years...things like Beverage Journals, Snack, Journals, Television Journals, and Beauty Journals, where you record your activity for a week. They also have studies where they ask you to mail in a particular bill and they pay you cash. I've also had some "normal" surveys and PTs from them. They also frequently offer studies to be completed by my children.

I  My Survey.

I have gotten tons of PT's from them, especially in the last 2 months.

This is another company that it takes time to start getting regular surveys from after you sign up, but it's worth the wait.

been a member for several years. I am currently in the process of one of the bev. journals, its worth 300 points. I am getting ready to cash out, or pick a prize here soon. There are times I hear nothing, then others when it seems like I get a bunch of invites. I've never had product testing thru them.

I hate this site with a passion. One of the worst surveys sites out there imo. But I'm glad some of you are doing well there.

Why are they "one of the worst?" Mysurvey is one of many sites that I'm a member of. I get a decent amount of surveys from them, all of which are very short (even the ones that are worth 75-100 points.) Takes a few months for points to add up, but it's nice to get those $10.00 checks in the mail a couple of times a year.

Ive gotten the "My Personal Diary" 3 TIMES 1,000x3=3,000 points which is $30 plus all the others ive done.

Ive never done any PT though. There are PLENTY of survey sites that are FAR worse then mysurvey.

I like My Survey, too. Have had many PT's and the surveys aren't overly long or annoying. I was a little bummed when they changed the prizes about a month ago because I was saving my points for the Ipod for my daughter and now it's gone. :( I'm hoping they'll add something else soon or else I'll just cash in for some $.

 for MySurvey! I've been with them about a year and have earned $40 so far. Have done 2 diaries and 4 PTs. Once this huge box appeared on my doorstep, and my son and I were thinking maybe it was something tech, like a Roomba or (he hoped) a Wii. Turned out it was a 20-pound sack of dog food! :D It lasted 3 months, so that was a big help for the beagle food budget.

Hope they send more diaries and PTs ... it does take a long time to build up points without them.

It took me a long time to get surveys from them. I've been a member for at least 4 years now. It takes a while, but things are starting to come in. I remember it was the same way for me when I started buzzagent, took forever to seem to be offered anything. Keep trying, good luck. Sorry if it hasn't gone like you've wanted.

It pays to log into mysurvey randomly a couple of times each week. I VERY often find that when I just log in I have 1 or 2 surveys waiting for me that I didn't get emailed about, and that the same thing that happened to you guys happens too.

I haven't had a journal in a couple of months, but they've always submitted fine in the past. Only 300 points though? That seems VERY low. Apparently they are getting seriously cheap with the payments.

I just did a survey for 10 points about household cleaners which lead to a pt.

Me too. Here are the details:

Today's survey is about products used in your household and is for the 38 year old female. It will take about 5 minutes and you'll earn 10 MySurvey.com reward points. When you log in to the site, you'll also earn another chance to win this month's sweepstakes with a grand prize of $10,000.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. Your opinions are extremely valuable to us. We would like to invite you to further assist us in evaluating a household cleaning product. If you agree to participate and are selected, a household cleaning product may be sent to your home for you to try for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, you will receive another household cleaning product to use for another 2 weeks. After using the two products, you would then participate in another short online survey to tell us your opinion of the household cleaning products you tried.

If you qualify and are selected, you will receive the products directly from the manufacturer. In order for you to participate in this study we will need to provide the manufacturer with your name and address to send you the products on these occasions. They have agreed to never use your information for any other purpose. We assure you that your personal information will not be released from the third party nor will you be contacted by any company other than Mysurvey.

Would you be willing to participate in this study?

I took a survey last night and qualified for additional 750. The survey took 45 minutes and at the end said sorry there was an error please contact us if you did not receive your points. I did not receive my points and when I called 3 times during normal business hours nobody answered the phone. Seems kind of strange that nobody answeres the phones. I hope I get my points because 45 minutes is a freaking long time to not get credited for.

Everytime I do one of their surveys, I have to check back and verify that the 10pt survey is only worth 10 cents. Since joining back in August, I've done 28 surveys and have a whopping 450 points in my account. Nor have I gotten any PT's from them.

I don't get it - it's not like there's an extensive profile and I'm to old

Regardless, I always take them and will get something more than the 10 pointers.

Leads To This:

There are many different ways MySurvey.com gathers consumer opinions and we continually develop new approaches. Today we would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in a new area of research that helps companies understand internet trends, e-commerce activities and consumer behaviors.

Here's how it works:

To participate in this research you would be asked to join the consumer research panel for our sister company Consumer Input (MySurvey.com and Consumer Input are both owned by TNS).
After completing a short registration form you will be asked to download software to your computer which monitors your internet activity. I just got the same survey within the last 2 days. I came here to make sure it did not mess anyone's computer up.

In regards to you getting 10 points instead of the 500, I would send an email to them. I had a problem with a survey before that was for 200 points and they fixed the problem within a week or two and I received all of my points.

has anyone ever had this problem. I used to always get surveys from them...then all the sudden I couldn't log in and when trying forgot password I got that my email wasn't in the system.

So for MONTHS maybe almost a year, I get surveys in the mail.

About a month ago I got an email from them saying they were sending me a survey through the mail. So I copied and pasted the email to the forgot password, same thing "doesn't exist in system"

I have tried emailing them 2 times about it now and still have yet to hear from anyone.

Obviously my account still exists since they are sending me things in the mail (calling my house too, but I don't tallk to any survey people over the phone) and now sending me an email.

You do not get paid much for doing the surveys. I do not expect to get rich, but I do not think that it is worth my time in many cases. To me anything less than $2.00 per 15 minutes is not worth my time. The $2.00 per 15 minutes of time in itself is really not that great, but somewhat reasonable. Additionally, it was a nightmare to try to get them to send a check they owed me. It is such poor service to keep calling over and over for months and to be told over and over that all is ok and the check is coming, when it was not all ok. I finally had to get angry and ask someone to take personal ownership of my problem and follow through once and for all. At least the check finally came. I quit after this incident. Now I am having the same problem with Global Test Market!!

Not quite but from May '08 to May '09 I've made a little over 11,000 points. And that's with the site being much slower for me in recent months - not as many surveys and I don't seem to qualify for most of them now save for the 1,000 point budget diary surveys they send me every three months. I feel like I've been getting more surveys from them in the regular mail but when I send those back they usually only give me around 50 points.

Points redeemed 23000

This is one of my favorite survey sites. I request a check as soon as I hit 1,000. I've never had a problem with a check getting lost ::knockonwood::

I do recall them sending out an email about 9 months ago asking for my opinion if they were to go with PayPal. It would be easier and hopefully faster payout time. I usually wait 2 weeks for the check after I request payment.

I've never spent a dime of any survey money yet. (Includes Pinecone, etc.) I opened a savings account (actually found a bank with 3.25% interest for a simple passbook savings) so it's building slowly, but nice.

The most points I received at one time from MySurvey was 1500, that was a 2 month study, but very easy.

The cheapy ones [10 points] are what you get if you don't qualify for a survey. When you qualify, they let you know that it will be longer and you'll get X amount of points [on average seems to be anywhere from 50 to a couple hundred, depending on the length] and ask if you'd like to continue taking it. PTs and diary studies are good for racking up points too if you get them. So yeah, they definitely give out more than 20 points for their surveys.

To those of you who may have taken a survey on diapers through Mysurvey, I recieved a diaper pt from them today from UPS...just thought I would let you know...I was pretty surprised, being there was no mention of a PT.

Sweet! i was really hoping on this!!!

I got a hair color PT from them a few days ago. I'm going to color my Mom's hair with it and she's going to be my guinea pig. Luckily it's a color she would use and it says it provides 100% Gray Coverage...

Would this happen to be a survey circulating the beginning of July? I qualified for the hair color PT as well and have not received it yet. I soooooo need it!

Yes I think that was about the time I did that particular survey about beginning to mid July. The hair color came by USPS and was stuck in the mailbox.

I was wondering about the hair color PT as well. I took the survey on June 30, and they said I would receive the PT in a week or two. Maybe I will still get it?

It's not there for me. :(

My 13-year old qualified for another one of their diaries this week though. I like it when we get them because they only take about 3 minutes a day for a week and they pay $10.

#198782 is a PT for a cold product that they will be overnighting. The screener took over 10 minutes and only paid $.75

How do you cook? [205359]
Today's survey is about how you cook and is for the female in your household. It will take about 3 minutes and you'll earn 5 MySurvey.com reward points.

Took 5 minutes, then led to additional 10-minute survey for an extra 30 points. Looked like a great product and I was excited because MySurvey offers so many PTs. No PT was offered. Took me 15 minutes for 35 points ($.35).

I made it to the end, so I really think there's no PT involved for anybody. Avoid this one.

Yup, along with all the other survey companies who lately have gone to the points system. I think they feel we're too stupid to calculate what the points come out to in dollars before we start a survey, which in most cases recently is only cents. :(

Oh heck no. I do not take a survey about a product for a nickel. If they want to hear what I think about a product they can pay me for my opinion. I write to them 3 or 4 times a year and ask why they're treating us like we're children and don't know the value of shiny coins. It's so demeaning. It just reminds me of when you say you'll pay a very young child a nickel to _______ (fill in the blank with ANY menial task) and they gladly do it because they don't know any better. I encourage everyone to bombard them with questions about what the heck they're thinking.

And no. My significant other is NOT going to take a screener for a nickel only to be invited to complete another 25 minute survey for 30 cents. He is an adult, he's not stupid and he will not work for 50 cents an hour.
