Voting system carries "thumbs down repost" when mods combine to orginal thread

You have to give posts a thumbs down when they are reposts to notify the mods. However when mods combine the repost into the original thread it carries the negative "repost". Those thumbs down "repost" votes should not transfer over to the original thread.

This was going on before the update which surprises me that the new thumbs down posting still carries on lol

Yes, it transfers but the votes don't count so it doesn't matter. We're keeping them for history.
