mods notifying of deleted posts

I've had a few of my posts deleted and have no idea why they were deleted.....I'm sure there was a good excuse why....but can't the mods just throw a quick PM to the person on why their post got deleted....could even be as short as "post on blah blah was deleted because it was a repost" I know the mods keep the forums really clean of spammers and are busier than anyone here knows.....but if possible I'd like to know where my posts go when I can't find them anywhere....I read in another thread to contact the moderators...but which one do you contact for that info there are at least 5 different mods

contact one of us, if you can include the link to the thread we can see who deleted and most likely why.

arjunsr is right, sometimes we are busy deleting soo many threads that we just don't have to the time to PM each person individually and go into an explaination of why, which leads to "but this was different" "No, it wasn't" etc.

Personally, If I can PM the person, I do, but that's about 50% or so of the time.

it was a long while back I don't remember now...just thought of the idea and decided to find out what kind of reaction I'd get from the mods..... it's what I figured but at least there are some attempts at it....... thanks for the good work mods.....

I got 16 or 17 posts deleted. I didn't get a warning they'd get deleted but I did get a literal warning point that I was spamming...so I sort of had a hunch they'd get deleted...the person who warned me was very nice with the warning content. thanks for being nice!
