Being able to ban yourself from certain forums

Since the option isn't available, is there a way for mods to restrict a user from accessing a certain forum for a length of time? i.e. I want to be restricted from the Lounge for 5 days, etc.

I'm pretty sure that at least one user was banned from the podium only. If you want to be banned, just PM a mod.

I tried asking Mr SD and Redsolar, but they aren't replying to the issue. Too much time in the Lounge = not enough time in hot deals. :(
