How to get multiple subscriptions using a single email address:

1. Open the links in post #1 and #2 each in a new tab.
2. Go to the tab from the first post and click on the link. {picture #1} - disregard the 'Open link' comment in the picture - you already took care of this in step 1.
3. Next click on a magazine that you want. {picture #2}
4. Finish filling out the form and submit it. {picture #3}
5. The next screen will be a welcome screen. You can go to your library if you want to. {picture #4}
6. After that switch over to the other tab that you opened up from post #2.
7. Click on the next magazine that you want. Use the links on the bottom of the page to go through multiple pages of magazines.
8. In the box that pops up enter some random letters where your email address would go and click on Go. {picture #5}
9. If all goes well, you should now be looking at a congratulations screen. {picture #6}
10. Click the back button on your browser until you get back to the magazine selection page - you should only need to click back once (I think).
11. Repeat steps 7 - 10 until you get all of the magazines that you want.
12. Once you're all done getting your mags then you can go to your Zinio page and start reading! {picture #7}

Note: The Read Green Initiative page logs you out after a period of time. (I think maybe 15 minutes) If that happens then you'll need to continue with a new email address. You can only view 100 issues in the my library pages, but the Zinio Delivery manager can still download ones that have already been bumped off your my library page.

There is another easier Option!
Use Gmail! It great for existing Email too. I tested it and gotten several magazines for existing email.

Dude, no need to make it so complicated. Just sign up with one email. Then add all the other magazines to that email. After you add the first one, don't log out of Zinio. Then go signup for another one. For the email address enter "dsafkdsadsa" or some other random string. It'll then add that magazine to your existing acct.

Can you elaborate? I didn't log out of Zinio, then clicked on the magazine links on the left and they all displayed prices.

How did you add more to the same email address for free?

Thank you.

Surprise, no one has ask this question.

Q: Can I convert to print?
A: It depends on the magazine. In most cases no!

Another way to get free magazines, including Playboy and Penthouse are as follows - No Subscription required - open Safari browser (comes with AOL Instant Messenger). Go into the EDIT drop down menu and click on Preferences. Then choose the advanced tab. Click the "Show Develop Menu" box and close the window. Now, click the DEVELOP drop down menu and choose USER AGENT - Mobile Safari - iphone. Now go to this link in Safari: http://imgs.zinio.com/iphone/

This is a promo they are offering for iphone users, but Safari has the option to pass of the iphone browser info to unlock it on the PC. You will need to choose the USER AGENT each time you open Safari. Neat trick a friend showed me - AND ITS ALL FREE! Good luck.

Heck, it takes a few more minutes and I can't guarantee Zinio will auto-feed the new magazines in, but by typing in a few random fake email addresses (yes, you need the @domain.com), if you have Zinio still open, it'll deliver the magazines to your account.

Not sure how many of you out there know this, but you can get free digital magazines from zinio.com by doing a simple hack in Firefox.

1. Download User Agent Switcher (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59)

2. After installing the add in, you must add the iphone feature by going to Tools > User Agent Switcher > Options > Options.

3. Click Add

4. In the field Description:, put in iPhone (or whatever you want to call it)

5. In the field User Agent:, insert Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419 (United States).

6. Click OK twice to save the changes.

7. You can now switch from Firefox to iPhone by going to Tools > User Agent Switcher > and selecting iPhone (or whatever you may have called it).

Now simply go to http://www.zinio.com/iphone and you will have access to several magazines, including:

U.S. News
Men's Health
Popular Mechanics
Elle
PC Magazine
Car and Driver
Macworld
Reader's Digest
Playboy
Penthouse
and more!

About the Zinio account, what happens when the 1 year subscription ends?

Does the account stay active allowing you to read past issues or does the account get closed? Couldn't find the answer in Zinio FAQs (I think they intentionally do it).

Stays open. Your account isn't for that one magazine, but with Zinio. You keep your issues even if the subscription ends.

Borrowed from FW

Use this link (http://goreadgreen.com/category/subscriptions/featured/) and get a crap load of 1 year subscriptions for free. You can tie them all to the same Zinio account. Just log into your current zinio account, then click the link. Use a different fake/made up email address for every mag you sign up for. It will still be sent to your already signed in Zinio account. There is no verification necessary so no need to use a real email addy.

I signed up for 38. There are about 100+ to choose from, even Penthouse and Playboy Mexico. :eek:

I did not have a Zinio account before this. Its open to everyone.

This is the classic example of a deal starting on SD, someone rips it to FW and then someone tries to rip it back to SD. And to toot my own horn, I was the one that figured out how to get it to give you more than one magazine subscription for free.

it will happen soon as more people spread the word of slickdeals (obviously if youre here, common sense would tell you to not share the site with anyone because if not youre hurting your overall chance to get deals)

yeah, the accounts are going to be open for no more than 2 more moths i bet.

Big whoops on their part, but then again, I only signed up for the magazines that interested me. Didn't go crazy and sign up for all of them, some of them, I didn't think would be useful for a regular consumer, but whatever. Hopefully, we keep what we have and they just limit it next time around.

Hey, wait a minute: doesn't look good to me.

Did anyone see the fine print that this will auto-renew at next years pricing ($$)? Or how about wondering how you're going to read that magazine on your screen, esp when you take that magazine wherever you take it to read it. (I won't make the obvious Penthouse in bathroom gag.)

Plus, it sounds like getting multiple mags means either lying through your teeth, or at least pretending you've bought an iPhone.

Sorry if I don't see the value here, yet. Can you enlighten me? Thx.

I am having a hard time finding the magazines from earlier posts. Maxim, Playboy, etc don't show up but relatively random magazines are available. Am I doing something wrong? How do you find the "good" magazines?
