Whats a good store to visit on BF for deals on sofas? I'm currently sitting on a piece of worn out padding on a metal grate...

I've never heard of furniture stores being involved in Black Friday, but I could be wrong.
If you want to cheap out, why not just buy new foam off eBay and restuff the cushions? I did that for my old sofa about 3 years ago and the cushions are still good. Total cost was about $50.

I don't know about BF sales but i am checking craigslist for a cheap price on a used high quality sofa. I would rather have a used high quality sofa that is in excellent condition then a new cheap sofa. There are a lot of people moving for work and downsizing that results in people selling their furniture. I saw some nice possibilities on craigslist that i want to check out.

It didn't occur to me before, but there might be item on sale at Macy's, but that would make them normal priced. :)

Because of the bad economic times there was mention that furniture prices are coming down. In today's newspaper (local) I thought I saw some discounts being offered to the usual 50% (normal daily quote) off. LIke most people we pay attention to BF days for the protable electronics/home items - but with everyone hurting - read the ads when they come out, but; know what you want and the current reasonable deal out there.

If you live near a rooms to go store they usually have a buy one $100 gift card, get another $100 gift card free. We did that last year and then went to a rooms to go outlet and completed our sleeper sofa set
