Doesn't $79.97 for a 5'-6' Douglas Fir seem a little on the high side? Unless inflation is 400% this year I got my 6'-7' last year for less than $50. The watermark makes it difficult to read, but thinking maybe it is $19.97 (which would be a really good price).

same deal they do every year. If you get there and the BF pallet of them is empty, check the shop vac aisle. Sometimes there are couple of stragglers on the shelf or high up in storage above the shelves. No one looks up there but it's the same model that sells in store year round :)

Bought my parents one 2 Christmases ago. It broke on them 9 months out. They called the shop vac company and they were sent a free replacement within a week. Great customer service!

Check the pdf a few post above, get the item number and cross reference with LOWEs or ShopVac's site.It's not a model that appears on the Shop-vac site, or Lowe's site. It's also not a normally stocked in store model. I was in Lowe's today and they sell a 14 gallon 5.5HP model for ~$90, but not one that matches the description or the sku in the ad.

As someone who bought both last BF, I prefer the Rigids that Home Depot always sell on BF. It sucks more than the Shop Vac which is a good thing in vacuums.:lmao: I returned the Shop Vac. Of course they may change from year to year.

I noticed as I was looking for some of the tools below on the lowes website that the ad that is circulating has some of the wrong regular prices listed. These are the tools that I was interested in below.

The prices are only valid on Black Friday (November 28th) which is why you are seeing price differences right now.

Bought my parents one 2 Christmases ago. It broke on them 9 months out. They called the shop vac company and they were sent a free replacement within a week. Great customer service!

So if u bought a gc in any amount of $100 or more, u will only get the $20 gc via rebate; but if u bought 3 separate $100 g.c.'s then u can send if for the 3 rebates. HTH

The prices are only valid on Black Friday (November 28th) which is why you are seeing price differences right now.

I understand....I was just trying to point out that the ad that is circulating from Lowe's has a misprint on the Everyday Regulrar Price for the Kobalt 20pc Socket Set. It say's it's regular price is $11.97 when actually the regualr price is $24.96. And you are correct it looks like you can get this $25 set on Black Friday for $9.98. Sorry for the confusion but notcied the misprint and thought I would share my findings.

My Bro has been spending alot of time in Lowes working on a housing project. He has gotten to know some of the employees there and was in there today (11/20). One of his friends told him that they are getting items down now and that they are starting Black Friday tomorrow (11/21) and going to continue it all week. Now is the staff member on the up and up I cannot say.
But, this employee did set him up with some of the closeouts they had a couple of weeks ago (Called him at home and told him about them).
It could make sense if they have enough stock to push it a week and try to get more of the money from your pocket to theirs.

Thanks, that's what I posted on back on page 2, the lack of a completel kitchen appliance package compared to last year's ad, and here it is. Last year we weren't ready to buy a set, but maybe this year.

I'm surprised there isn't a lot of talk about these- $1547 for a complete appliance package includin a side-by side fridge with water/ice maker, smoothtop-range, mounted microwave and dishwasher in a nice looking stainless and black finish? I think the price is about the same as last year, but how is this not an incredible deal????!!!!!?????

I see that they're offering no interest no payments on ANY purchases totaling $299 or more between 11/28-11/30 using the Lowes card. Does anyone know if this will work for gift cards? I also saw that for every $100 in Lowes GC purchased, you get $20 back via mail-in (limit 3)

For the cheapest, usable option the 9.6 volt cordless black and decker for $19.97 would do fine for light use. Stay away from the little 3.6 volt, it's a toy. They also have a 109 piece B&D bit set for $9.97 but I would pay the extra $5 and get the 129 piece doorbuster set for $14.98. The doorbuster, 24 volt B&D drill combo set is the best value but the drill will be larger than the 9.6 volt. It will also have quite a bit more power but should be variable speed (the harder you pull the trigger the faster it spins) which is nice when driving screws. It also includes a stud finder which is an invaluable tool when hanging large objects and trying to make sure you are screwing into a stud for support. Plus it includes the small saw if you ever need to cut or trim something.

I've been keeping an eye on my local Home Depot and they don't even have a Rigid 9 gallon model with the BF stuff at the front of the store. It's a Husky 9 gallon 3.5HP one with what looks like an in between size hose, bigger than the 1.25" stuff, but smaller than the 2.5" stuff. The tag on the shelf by them says "Rigid 9 gallon". Of course the SKU numbers don't match the ad though.

They do have the Rigid 12 gallon from last year up in the BF section of the store though, so I'm not sure what's going on.

It looks like you have to buy all $300 worth of gift cards on one receipt. One submission per household. I found the rebate form on lowe's website.

Also it looks like if you buy the skil table saw and miter saw on 12/1 you can submit the skil rebate and get a $40 gift card back. They will be marked down to $79 each so if you have any 10% off coupons that would make them $102 for both after rebate. Heck buy a $100 gift card to pay for them and they really only cost you $82 after rebates. Seems like a good deal to me.

We did get the Black & Decker Utility cabinet. I know there was only about 60 or so people in line when the store opened and we were there for probably 10 or so minutes, asked an associate if thee was any left and he said the pallet was all gone, but took us back and found the last one on the shelf. I did see one man w/ 3 of them in his cart. But I don't think there was by any means a lot of them....like 25 maybe per store...at least I didn't see many people w/ them, nor was there a lot of people there. I did snag the whirlpool appliance set for basically under $1000 (after you include all the mail in rebates and my 15% off coupon). Purchased gift cards, plus the $625 MIR and MIR from the $20 for every $100 gift card purchase. And I got the Samsungs @ Sears for $850 last week. Thanks SD!

Just an FYI, my local Lowes pretty much still had all the Black Friday deals going today. The 2D & 3D Maglites were still $15. They still had the $34 4' Werner ladder. The $59 Black and Decker 24V kit, etc. They were marked on sale through 12/8/08.
