My favorite snack is to put some of the TJ's triple cream brie (double would work too) on some of their amazing rosemary and raisin squares and add a bit of sour cherry jam (I get the jam at Whole Foods, in the cheese area) on top. The combination of flavors is really amazing together. It would be a really nice appetizer for a party too.

[QUOTE=Zoe Moon;72802608]Don't think I've mentioned this before (getting old = memory sucks) but the TJ's mini turkey meatballs are really tasty. We have them with the TJ's Arrabiata sauce over pasta but any pasta sauce would work, it's just our fav for the meatballs as they are lighter than beef meatballs and the Arrabiata sauce is a lighter sauce too.
Mmm sounds good, do you think these would be a good appetizer if i stick toothpicks in them? I need some easy dishes to bring to some xmas gatherings. I tried some jalapeno cranberry sauce the other day, pretty tasty, they put a small blob on cheese and crackers.
Someone should start a thread like this for costco

My location finally had the 17 year TJ Highland single malt scotch in. I don't think I'll be trying to get another bottle like I was with the 23 year.
I'm a few weeks away from opening up one of the 2013 Vintage Ales that I've been cellaring since last year, and have the 2014 to sample it next to.

They're also offering three types of handmade tamales in the refrigerated foods section. The pork ones were really nice, bought the chicken ones but haven't tried them yet. They also have a veggie tamale option. You need to use a sauce on them, they're a little dry without one.
Saw a Speculoos cookie butter cheesecake in the frozen foods section at TJ's yesterday.
TJ's is closing all stores at 6 pm on Christmas eve and New Years eve, they're closed on Christmas day and New Years day.

|Zoe Moon||Tried the TJ's dark chocolate covered marshmallows, which are 'light and fluffy' according to the box, light yes but chewy. They weren't as light and fluffy as the Tunnock's Tea Cakes which I'm addicted to but they were nice. Probably won't have them again, since I can get the Tunnock's here.|

|Zoe Moon||Well that was disappointing. We tried the pumpkin soup, it had a good smell to it but the soup was watery and bland, didn't really have any flavor so we tossed it.|

Forgot I bought some of the pumpkin soup the other day, might have some before dinner tonight. We're having pan seared salmon and a salad with smoked tomato dressing tonight.

|astromarmot||I don't get the cookie butter stuff, it's ok, but it's like it tries too hard to be overly decadent...|
