|Zoe Moon||Tried the Cilantro & Chive Yogurt Dip, very tasty stuff, even people who don't like yogurt would like this, it tastes and has a texture more like soft cream cheese than yogurt.|

|Zoe Moon||Finally tried 'cooking' the pork belly, it's fully cooked and vacuum sealed so it keeps for a long time in the fridge, there's a freeze by date on it. You just wash it off and pat it dry then cook it on medium heat until it browns up nicely. I sliced it up before browning it so it wouldn't take as long and so each slice would be browned, just don't slice it too thin or it could be dry by the time it browns. Very tasty stuff and easy to do when you don't feel like cooking from scratch. Could also be served as a nice appetizer.|

|Zoe Moon||Tried the Limeade with Pomegranate today, very tasty, light and refreshing. If we weren't on the diet I would have bought a bottle of it.|

The TJ's over in Sammamish is one of the few stores in the Seattle area that are allowed to do wine tastings, so if you're on the Eastside and want to try some wines, go there. I find it's worth the drive. Some weekends I think they do beer tasting instead of wine but I'm not over there often enough to know for sure. The tastings are Thursday to Sunday between 2 and 4.
Got a Stonehedge Cab and a Chardonnay (very buttery) from their tasting a couple of weeks ago. Usually not a Cab drinker but this one was very, very nice, their Merlot however was not good.
This week they were doing a four buck red and a white blend. The white blend (R.G.M.V. Central Coast, CA, 2011) was very nice, a bit dry but fruity and very tasty. Don't recall what the red was but it was too sharp and acidic.
However not a fan of the cheese they were trying, can't recall the name but it was an English white cheese with truffles in it. Too salty and had a weird tang to it.

TJ's Roasted Coconut chips. Not a fan of coconut but was wanting something with a crunch to it and with this low carb diet all the usual stuff was out, so I grabbed some of these. OMG! It's so good, can't stop eating it.
They were sampling roasted pork belly, it was really tasty too. It's pre-cooked you just take it out of the packaging and brown it on each side in a skillet. It's in the prepared foods refrigerated section. Only drawback is it's $5.99 (IIRC) for 12 ounces, might be cheaper in other parts of the country, groceries in Seattle are about 15% more expensive than in other parts of the country.

|Zoe Moon||Sampled the TJ's organic sweet butter pickles and wound up buying a jar. One of the best sweet butter pickles I've ever had.|

|Zoe Moon||Had some pulled pork sammiches on toasted whole wheat buns. Was ok, it was too sweet and had a bit too much sauce, so you couldn't really taste the pork. It reminded me of Sloppy Joe's, which admittedly I haven't had since I was a kid back in the 60's, so that may be a false memory.|

Stone Cold Steve Austin loves Trader Joes
He also hates the small parking lots...like I do
Only time I get to go there is when I got to a big city. Those small parking lots kill me!
