i normally get a 20% employer discount on my SERO plan.
last month, for some reason i got another additon 20% employer discount.
so my plan is not around $25 total after all the taxes.
For those of you lucky enough to get the employer discount, anyone else get this additional 20% off?

Perception goes a long way. prey bad if you look at it like that. pretty good if you look at it as $50 for unlimited text/data on an iphone vs. $79.99 for all other sprint users (or more on other carriers without unlimited data).
jailbreak and use with an ipad/tablet and you'll certainly get your money's worth. not even illegal anymore. suppose you can do that with a 4g phoen too though.

|Enz0||So they want $50 for a 3G iphone or $50 for a 4G android phone...|

|aweekapaug||pre-ordered an iphone 4s for the wifey's SERO plan this morning. not sure if I am going to upgrade my SERO plan to an iphone or the Galaxy II S.|

Actually I was a little late with this news. I found another thread on SD that confirms what I wrote.

|thehip||I certainly would not be completely unsurprised if this did not happen possibly.|

I don't think you can know whether the amount is $40 or $50 until you actually activate the device and your plan changes. Can a Sprint CSR tell you for sure? When I do the same thing it says the phone will arrive by Oct 15 or so. Surely Sprint knows already what they will charge SERO folk who upgrade.

|Thurbs||Engadget is showing that you can pre-order the Iphone 4 now. So I went to Sprint.com and tried to update for my sero account and it looks like I would be able to. However they are charging the $20 extra even though the phone is not 4g! So it looks like SERO is eligible except you are going to pay $50 a month instead of $40!|

$50 for a non-4G phone does make sense though. But so does leaving SERO users out in the cold for some period of time to see how many will jump ship to non-SERO plans.

If the Sprint CSR says $50, I'm gonna have to say $40, more than $50, or not at all.

Russ seems to be tight-lipped about it:
