Perhaps you misunderstood my post (big surprise), but I'm willing to wait a week, not an entire year (which you seem to be suggesting lol). I need/want a phone in the near future.. I'm not going to wait forever until bluetooth becomes a-trac so I can get a great deal on it.
I'm not suggesting throwing money away, but this is a good deal. If you don't see it/it isn't to you, move along. Saving ~30% and waiting just a week (or less) is a good deal to me. If you want to wait forever, by all means go ahead, but this is still a good post, and it'll save me some money. I agree we're in a recession, but this price is certainly not retail. I've also learned time = money. Searching SD every single day to maybe save an additional $20 and getting the phones 6 months from now is a big waste of money in my book. There's a fine line between getting something NOW at a good price, and MAYBE getting something at a great deal later on. For a relatively small purchase like this, the former is the easy choice to make for most people (especially for something you need now).
Btw, forgive me for not being a hardcore SDer. :p

What a retard.. and talking about a deal from 10/10? That's practically a whole year ago! If you got a good deal, again, congrats, great. But, some of us value our time a little more than waiting around for 6+months just to save another $20 at most. Again, thanks OP!

|guidosam||Looks like you got a good deal at Staples, but the OP's deal at Costco has bluetooth capabilities (links to cell phone). The one you've listed doesn't. The bluetooth capable ones are going to cost a little more.|

It was back in 10/10.
But i attached a ss of my order.
$82.02 - $30 Rebate = $50.

The deal you mentioning had a lot of dependencies. Staples rebate and coupon. All said that was still $55 plus taxes for 2 handset model. This is $25 extra for 2 extra handsets which justifies the addl cost!!!

I was voicing my opinion and my past deal.
I wasn't thread crapping but merely letting others see what past deals were and judge for themselves if they should get it or now.
"I was going to buy the same set for >$100, but I'm willing to wait a few days to save a few bucks."
If your willing to wait why would you buy this instead of waiting for a SD?
Overall this is slickdeals.net.
If you want to pay retail have fun feeding the cash cows.
Us others rather get shit cheap to save money in this recession.
Me paying $45 versus $90 after tax and gas which is double the price is not a SD.

For someone like me that works from home and uses the cell phone a lot, I find this a real handy phone.

Yes - you could use the phone without a landline.

|kam1628||I had a question. if I don't had a landline. will the phone still work on bluetooth that link to mobile phone?|

|cwing||Panasonic in my experience makes the best cordless handsets.|

Paid $45AR/AC for a set of 3 and a glass desk @ staples like 6 months back.
Don't think an extra $40 is worth another handset, maybe a little newer model and no free desk lol.
