Also for CSP, you can earn up to 2 points/dollar if the majority of your spending is on Travel or eating at restaurants. I carry both cards, but the SPG AMEX is slowly fading away in my wallet. At the end of the day, it depends on the individual as both cards have their perks.

|broadwayblue||Picked up this card while the 50k bonus was still alive. Other than for use out of the country to take advantage of the no FTF I'm not sure why anyone would use this as their primary card, compared to say SPG Amex. But it will make a nice secondary card for the times Amex is not accepted.|

Ok, now I feel like a heel posting that after the deal is dead. You can still get the card and get $40,000 points if you spend 3K in 3 months. Speaking as someone who has this card, it's worth checking out.

|silkdrift||The hubby & I picked up this deal a couple of months ago, and we love it. The benefits are amazing, and customer service is wonderful. When you call, you actually get to speak to a very nice professional person. No phone tree! The added bonus is the card - it's blue metal. I can't say how many people have commented that it's a very cool card. The only thing missing with this deal is access to priority clubs in airports. Other preferred cards have that feature, but also have a hefty $500.00 annual fee.|

10k is a decent amount of points but in the long run you shouldn't be set back too much.
