The Defy was a reasonably high-end phone meant to sell at a much higher price - the other phones in the lower price range (less than $250.00 or so) just don't compare in terms of overall build quality.

Just a head's up to anybody who, like me, was lucky enough to get this phone on this deal. Based on a post in another thread I decided to check the manufacturer's warranty status on the two phones I received. Even thought they were clearly labeled as refurbs and T-Mobile says they come with 90 day warranties, I clicked on this link:
and checked my phone's IMEI numbers. Motorola shows one phone under warranty until August 2012, and the other under warranty until October of 2012. So - check your phones, you might have hardware support for them for longer than you think.

So...T-Mobile decided to replace my old order with a new one, by themselves I might add. I never contacted them or anything after they canceled either. Not sure if I still want it tho

was able to get the HTC AMAZE for $336 with tax , shipping and upgrade. I was able to get $50 credit too. it is eligible for $50 MIR, but not sure if i will qualify for another $50 MIR cos I already did MIR on same line 2 months ago. I actually already did upgrade in NOV 2011, the defy no contract order got canceled so was given the GRAVITY SMART for $100 total, but they made it upgrade even though it was supposed to be a sale only, they tricked me but but i tricked them back by sending back the gravity and got the AMAZE for new 2 year contract, just 2 months after i already did upgrade for SG2, hahaha
