Suggestions: iPad App - Subscribed threads, deleting messages & more
I've experimented with the iPad app a bit. Overall, the design is great!
First off I noticed there is no way to view user subscribed threads. The account page only shows threads submitted by the user. That could be a link on the left menu.
Second, on the PM's it would be nice to be able to delete those using touching a delete icon and sliding to delete. I'm guessing it's a coding feature that Apple supplies, since they do seem standardized.
Also, on the front page deals, they show up great. But, once you go to view. The page doesn't load. If it is refreshed, the page displays for a split second then nothing again. Maybe on the 3rd or 4th refresh, it does display. (It appears to be occurring in any listing, but, the FP deals seem to have the most difficulty displaying.)
I've restarted the iOS and it still has the same results. The website loads fine in Safari.
If the WiFi isn't turned on before the app is started, a message says it needs to be connected. It would be helpful for it to ask if the iPad settings could be brought up. Otherwise, it just sits at a black screen & the app has to be stopped and restarted after the WiFi is activated.
In the forums with stickied threads. Perhaps apply the functionality to collapse listing, so it's not taking up as much viewing space.
Reps! It appears that there's no way to do that in the app.
Keep up the great work!
