At this point, I will never go with Sandforce because my time is too valuable to waste dealing with all of the problems Sandforce owners are still reporting after applying the most recent firmware updates. I rather spend another $20 for a more reliable drive even if a benchmark shows a performance hit that isn't noticable in real world use.

|HexiumVII||Damn you SSD deals, i got an Agility last time about same price, but this one has better nand. Using it as a play drive still, got samsungs as boots. I figure with all the huge pc makers selling their thousands of comps, even apple sticking with samsung, it has better validation than the addin only sandforces. Even the first few Intel G1 & G2 SSDs were plagued with problems and recalls in their initial release. The firmware fixes would even brick the drives, forcing a firmware recall :p|

thats a over a year old article, from a small time ssd maker.
I would recommend quickly reading oczforums and look through issues after 2.15 firmware.

It is not the firmware I would be worried about on OCZ.

|VENCO||Good deal on this SSD, bought this over the weekend at $140 from Amazon (after rebate). Unfortunately Amazon is no help with the $30 difference.|

This is the deal I've been waiting for. Now that it's here debating on waiting just a little longer since the 4s are out. Might even drop lower.
Any guesses if we'll see a better price this month on a synchronous SSD?
