Reading this thread when it was new sent me to sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com. I did some research on this company for 2 reasons.
1. I've been shopping for a CCW for a few months and somehow never came across them
2. Their prices are AMAZING. Which of course can be a red flag.
In searching about the website people were concerned that their prices were so low, can they be trusted. Saw mixed reviews but I took a chance.
Ordered 2 items on 8/14, at my FFL by 8/16. Great prices, quick and free 2 day shipping. So far no complaints.

|whip357||As I remember, the laser button on the Body Guard is tiny... might be a problem hitting it in a real scenario.|

The thing I do not like about the lasermax mount is that the activation button is a toggle like switch located in front of the trigger versus the pressure activated on the hand grip.
I can really see myself not activating the laser at all in a real tense draw where time is precious.

|bchill||Overall the bodyguard is engineered a little more. I like the fact that it will lock open on the last shot allowing you to reload on the fly. The Ruger has a slide lock but it doesn't stay open on the last shot. The Smith also has a manual safety. I like having the manual safety because it gives me the added sense of security. Frankly the heavy trigger on both of these guns is the true safety but the added manual one is great. The Smith is slightly heavier but size is almost identical. Hope this helps. If the above features are not an issue you can't go wrong with the LCP..|

|FrugalFreddy||There are various vids on YouTube comparing The LCP (with and without laser) to the BodyGuard. I searched, "lcp vs bodyguard."|

For anyone who feels the grip is too small, try the Hogue Hybrid grip. It's LCP specific, and makes the grip a bit thicker and helps with recoil.

Your best bet is to browse some of the many firearms forums on the net, there is a ton of info available.

Good price on the combo, I have this setup myself.
Nice little toss in your pocket go to the cornerstore little pistol.
Sharp recoil though, so you're not going to fire a couple hundred rounds at the range but not what it's intended for anyway.
The wife eventually went to an SP101 in .38 Special because of the recoil though.
The laser doesn't interfere with choice of holster since it's rear side mounted.
