Hey guys, I know that this thread is for discussing the TF700, but someone has mentioned here about getting TF300 for $270. I would buy it even for higher, however all I can find now is $379 at Newegg plus a keyboard for extra $129. So it bring it to $508 total or so. I missed a deal at Sears where one could get both a tablet and a keyboard for $350 + tax, and now need to get it as quickly as possible, but for less than $500. Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated for this tablet, which is considered to be lower-class than Prime or TF700, however which is still expensive.
Many Thanks in Advance.

You could be a sole proprietorship and use your SSN as your EIN/Tax ID #.
I don't think Newegg really cares as long as you don't have 80 businesses at one address.
Hopefully your TF700 turns out better for you than my TF300 has so far. It's at the repair center right now...

I might bite on one if they have the 15% off promotion again.

In fact, most 10" IPS ChinaTab's are 1/2 that, with the exception of a premium few.
It's just hard to stomach that price for the technology.
There will always be a bleeding-edge / premium market, but I just think that market that it caters to is small and they probably don't care about the 4% savings this represents anyways.
On a sidenote, I was comparing apples to eggs earlier when saying I could buy 7x ChinaTabs.
That would be if they were 7" models and not 10".
For 10", I could only buy 4 or 5 of the ChinaTabs, which is closer to Apples and Oranges.

Some generic/ChinaTabs may be good deals, but I seriously doubt any are packing a 1920 x 1200 Super IPS screen with 600 nit brightness.

Or, better yet, I could buy a laptop, 3 ChinaTabs, and have money leftover to take the family for dinner at CPK.
This is miles away from being a deal, by any stretch of the imagination.
In fact, it's shocking to think that anyone that calls themself a SlickDealer would even consider this item, this technology, or this price.
