So my gaming/HTPC died and I spent some time troubleshooting. Ruled out a power supply with the jumper test and powering a different PC + peripherals. Figured it was a motherboard problem. It has been an issue for a while and the USB ports in the back died some time ago, figured it was just deal.
Got a new one and sent the dead one back under warranty (figure I can build a second PC with sale parts as I find them). So I put the new mobo in last night and couldn't get it to power on. Started worrying that I had some short in a wire on the supply that I didn't test and started ripping it apart and retesting everything with a multimeter. It all checked out and I put it together again, still nothing.
It is now nearly 1 am and I am about to call it when I bump the front of the case and it comes on. Turns out I had been hammering the reset button instead of power. I so rarely turn the computer off or on that I completely forgot the power button was hidden on a different section of the panel above the reset.
I likely just sent back a functioning board and wasted hours of my life due to forgetting how to work a button. Sigh.

Was going to post it in the movie thread but I guess it belongs here...
I've never seen a Star Wars movie in its entirety. Though I may watch this new one when it comes out on video.

i'd actually love to setup my amazon account so that vine reviews aren't shown and they don;t count towards the product rating. i have a feeling that they are skewed in the positive direction because people want free swag.
wasn't there another company sending products out for people to review, like cutting into Vine's realm?
