Also, for anyone new to this memory foam, buy 3" 5lb density and if that's too firm, you can get a less dense topper for it, such a this 4lb density. You can't go the other way...
If you want to do it right, get a 4" polyurethane base on a platform bed base, and the memory foam goes on top of that.

|MadPup||After too many episodes of slowly deflating inflatable mattresses I'm ready to try something else for camping. Anyone tried using one of these?|

This one has a one year warranty. the topper at Costco has a 10 year warranty. I am not sure if that reflects the quality of materials or not.
They usually recommend rotating the mattress every 6 months and not using it permanently on the floor, as this would inhibit it from breathing.
some advertise that the foam is a type that does not "heat up" and retain body heat. I am not sure if they all do this or this is a special property of some of the better versions.
If you know your body temperature tends to rise while you sleep, pick out a ventilated memory foam topper. These perforated mattress toppers allow for extra air circulation that will keep you cool all night. Pin-sized holes and special grooves mean you'll get the same amount of support you're looking for, but with a slightly more breathable construction.

For anybody that has this, is this good for a side sleeper about 205lbs? Thinking about ordering this one or the 3" thick one if that is better. This is the 3" for $40 more. http://www.overstock.c

|Capricorn79||I'm in for one! These things are normally way more money, and we need one! $69.00 is a great price for a better nights sleep.|
