Way to call me out Elmer
The statement that any church > Wright's church is chalked full of hyperbole and I hope DJ thinks so as well. I can think of a number of Catholic Churches among others off the top of my head that are worse than Wright's.
Regardless, it's going off topic, so it really doesn't matter.
Bottom line is that if you're going to compare Romney's tax returns to Obama's tax returns, you have to compare 2010 and 2011 tax returns because those are the only one Romney has released. If you're comparing taxes paid, you have to compare the percentages, rather than the overall amount if you care about statistical accuracy.
Trying to compare Obama's 2002 tax returns to Romney's current ones, solely because "you're in office and you know well in advance your taxes are going to be scrutinized" is totally backwards. Romney has been running for President for at least the last 2 years. He knew his taxes would be scrutinized as well - which is probably why he's only releasing two years. Unless DJ is calling on Romney to release more tax returns so we know what he was doing before he decided to start running for President .

Sounds to me like 32% (79 - 47) are self hating non tax payers...
It's kind of like the rich self hating Democrats that wants higher taxes...

[QUOTE=smegalicious;53634288]I'm going to guess that Romney didn't have any.
that's a decent guess.. but I'm guessing Obama had alot of help also. He didn't exactly come from a hard up family. Nor did his wife.

So they Obama paid it off early and so did Romney (most likely), probably places them both in that 1% group of people able to do so.

Do you think Romney had much student loan debt to pay off well into his early 40s?
