I got the "Executive" a couple days ago and must say, after much prepping that the shave is "buttery smooth" as they say. That being said, the Gillette Mach series and the Schick Hydro stuff is still better. The Executive blades seem to be really close together and don't allow sufficient rinse-through, and the blades seem REALLY thin and feel like they could draw blood very fast if not used very slowly. With the Hydro stuff, I can go as fast as I like without the feeling that I will draw blood.
I think 6 blades is probably too many and actually may hinder it's performance. Although Hydro and Mach blades are expensive, I can normally find good sales to stock up on the blades a few times a year, so price is not really a factor. The Executive just did not feel as good as the other stuff I use and I will probably just finish up the cartridges and move back to the Schick Hydro stuff.

i use DE razors anyhow and just got in on this to see the quality of the blades. i'd definitely recommend them to people, but the value just isn't there if that's what you're looking for.

|fwdmydeals||I have tried using a DE for months (Derby and Feather blades). I don't seem to understand all of the hype around it, yes it is cheaper but for me anyways it does not get as close and it leaves my skin dry and irritated. I am not saying this is the case for everyone but I will stick with the cheap triple blade razors from target/walmart.|

Have the 4 bladed one and it lasts a month. I could go longer but why bother when I have 10 fresh ones waiting.
