38 Studios/BHG IPs auction was last week.
BHG trademark plus Rise of Nations/Rise of Legends sold for roughly $320K.
No one offered enough for the Amalur/Project Copernicus properties.
There go my hopes for a sequel.

yes i know this topic is over 208 days old. but just like ol' bloody sock, it just won't go to pasture.
what's left of the 38 Studios/BHG IPs was supposed to go to auction this week, but was pushed back to December 11, because of "greater than expected" interest from potential bidders. Lincoln Chaffe and the taxpayers of Rhode Island hope to get back some of the $75M they lost when 38 Studios went down.

"... the company listed $150 million in debt, $22 million in assets and $320 in petty cash."
Wasn't a complete bomb. They did have $320 in cash.
Interesting that there was so much political failure rolled up in here as well.

Curt Schilling sock could be for sale
Ol' Bloody Sock might actually have to sell the bloody sock from the 2004 ALCS, which is apparently up in Cooperstown at the Baseball HoF, to pay off loans to 38 Studios from RI banks. He listed the sock and other personal memorabilia including WWII and other baseball items as collateral in the loans.
