I bought one of these and added it to the 4GB Samsung stick it came with and it works perfectly.
I don't believe my model or the model in this thread support more than 8GB of RAM.

Should I just get another 4GB stick or should I get a matching set (2 x 4GB)
I heard LLano performs better with higher speed ram and lower CAS so I was think about this 1600 Kingston kit from Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...top-Memory or
Newegg has a good deal on this ADATA 1333 16GB kit for $54. I am not even sure if this laptop supports 16GB or what I would do with that much memory but for only $15 more than the kingston kit it seems like a great deal. (All three reviews are Mac users. Is this RAM compatible with laptop?)
Found these benchmarks:

Not a single scratch on the thing. I think they replaced the bezel or sent me something higher than grade 7. So far everything works well. I installed windows using the recovery cd, no bloatware included.
@Musgo: I have not tested the hdmi or the usb port next to it but the two on the right side work.

mine arrived in decent shape, but two of the usbs arent working i noticed that it has multitouch touchpad which allows you to scroll if you press the touchpad with two fingers at the same time, like the mac notebooks, and if you press with three fingers it allows you to switch windows that are currently open.
another thing that is annoying is that the hdmi out is way too close to the usb making it
impossible to connect both at the same time.
is anybody else having problem with the two usb ports on the right?

|stevez32||Roxio failed me on the burn, but the windows provided ISO burning tool did the trick, installing now. Whew|

Hmm, this link didn't fix the problem for me, but I'll try again at an even slower burn and also going to try the windows install tool. Not feeling too hopeful though...

The install files from mydigitallife (article from ~2009 timeframe) recommended in SD threads gave CD/DVD driver problem. The above thread is newer and seems to solve the problem, or perhaps it was just the burning process

Windows install asks for a CD/DVD driver and I dont see one on Samsung website,
does anyone have this issue? What exact ISO file are you using? USB or DVD boot?
