So, $600 for an iphone 5, or $30 for replacement glass....
Give me a few minutes to think that one over
I don't mind digging around inside of the phone myself - I've done it before on the 3GS. Heck, if I can replace a hard drive in a unibody Macbook, I should be able to swap the glass on a 4s.

In another instance, a friend and I took a cracked iPhone to some ghetto cell phone store. They replaced the screen for $75. It took about an hour and the screen was perfect quality. You might want to consider that option.|

OP, I got mine from "gadgetfix" and I was happy with the results. Obviously it was not OEM, but the display looked identical to me and they had good feedback and were US based. It worked perfectly for over a month until my GF dropped the phone in the toilet. Then it worked for about two weeks and died permanently. I have not tried some of these full board scrubs that some people are selling as a fix, but maybe one day...

Yeah, I watched the replacement video for it - looks like it's going to burn up a few hours to get it done! Hope I don't lose any of those screws
Those that bought one - would you mind PM'ing me the ebay seller you got it from?

|LiquidRetro||Ya I bought one on ebay. They are a giant pain to install on the 4S because you basically have to take the entire phone out through the back.|

|brbubba||I got mine off of an ebay seller, US based, with good reviews on their screens. Took forever to install the damn thing, but once done I couldn't tell the difference.|

iPhone 4s screen replacement
Has anyone here bought replacement front glass for the 4s? Just looking for a reputable place to get a screen - I'll do the replacement myself.
