You'll need an AMP wiring kit. Gauge of wire depends on the power of your amp.

|PCracer51||Grabbed one of the 4400 series yesterday. Seems each store only had one, and none in the warehouse (I had the cashier check as I wanted 2).|

Last week I ordered the 2400 for $47 and went to pick it up this am and they said they don't have it...even though they charged my Paypal account last week! They checked stock at a few more stores and sol.
I was PO'd! So I told them I'd deal with it online. The CS was very helpful, and could not find any, but I told him the 4400 was available at close store...would he honor the price? Yes! So, even though I have to make two trips (just 5-6 miles per), I'll be picking up a new 4400 for $47! Sweet.
And kudos to AAP CS for saving the day (at least this transaction)!

OMG, these are not sat radio ready. My
CC was inching..thank goodness i didn't buy. I can tell everyone how to wire sat radio with ducktaping key elements. No need to hard wire a plug and play device. U do need to pay for service. I paid $450 approx. For lifetime service 5 years ago. In exchange, someone tell me how to run or wire an amp from battery to back. I think its easy but have never seen it done so i could ask questions, also.

Hey everyone, I have a 10 year old Pioneer headunit in my car w/ wiring harness that is on the verge of dying. Doesn't make correct contact and I have to push on it really hard for the screen to light up and controls to work. Tried to fix, nothing can really be done imo.
That said, will the wiring harness be the same? Do I need to buy a new one? Where can I figure out which one I need? I have a 1996 Volkswagen Passat GLS (4 cyl.). Thank you!!!
I have the Pioneer DEH-4400HD for $60.06 in my cart right now. I decided to spend a bit more to get the HD radio as I listen to a lot of radio.
Did some searching around. I think the same wiring harness will work. Pulled the trigger and going to go pick it up in an hour. Gonna be nice to have a working radio again!

|a1strank||Originally ordered the Pioneer DEH-1300MP with mothers clay cleaning kit for $50 AC to pick up in store. When tried to pick it up this Friday, the guy told me they're out. He cancelled my order (refunded) and offered me 4400HD for somewhere around $45 so I picked it up. Overall a good experience still|

Uggg. Got DEH-1300MP at the local store. Just installed it, it lights up and you can see the clock, but does NOT work. Got a dud. Just re-checked in-store availability online and there are NO more.
