In the second scenario Tmo will just charge you $200 ETF with no other fees from BB. So you get a non contract S3 for around $345 (assuming $36 activation fee and tax on the $100 price).
Maybe others can give their input as well on this if this is not correct.

Apologies if it has been already answered.
Does BB charges any early contract cancellation fee (similar to Amazon,etc) for Tmobile.
What would happen in the following 2 scenario's:
- Buy a Tmobile galaxy S3 for 100, cancel within 14 days so that no ETF is charged by Tmobile. Don't return the phone at BB.
- Buy a Tmobile galaxy S3 for 100, cancel after 14 days, pay ETF but keep the phone.
Would BB charge any penalty for the above scenario. If yes, then how much?

|mrtrance||Has anyone here been able to get the "Unlimited Data 4G" that is $30 a month for $20/mo that we were able to get with the Pref Android plan? When I get my S3 from BB I will need to call back and get my old unlimited Pref Android $20 plan back, but if they are willing to give me the 4G Unlimited plan for the same price I'd rather do that.|

I just upgraded my Tmo line tonight and got the same $100 price since they messed up on that Sunday. The BB rep when completing my upgrade ran into an issue when selecting a data plan since my unlimited Android data plan at $20/mo (regularly $30) was not available. He called Tmo to see if he chose one of the other plans and when I get my phone to activate it that I could call Tmo to switch me back to my $20 unlimited plan. The Tmo rep noted this on my account and informed the BB rep to select the $35/mo 5GB plan for now in order for my upgrade to go thru and once phone arrives I would call Tmo and have them switch me back.
Overall the phone will be free for me since I get a $50 BB GC from the freedom promo plus I had a $100 BB GC as well.

I called BestBuy today as my status was still ""Order Status:: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled."
They transferred to 3 different people, finally last person was kept me holding for 10 minutes to find out whats happening with T-Mobile. Eventually he said problem is fixed and your phone will be shipped tomorrow and I need to call T-Mobile to activate and transfer the phone.
Now I noticed in the bestbuy.com order status my $10 data plan for all three phones were removed leaving the base plan and 3rd phone line fee. I will see what the T-Mobile people are going to screw with data plan and then decide to keep the phone or not. They also said shipping will be between Nov 2 to Nov 12.
Plan before calling: T-Mobile - Classic Family Talk - 1000
$59.99 (Base) + $5 (3rd Line Fee) + $10 (data plan for each phone) = $94.99
Plan after calling: T-Mobile - Classic Family Talk - 1000
$59.99 (Base) + $5 (3rd Line Fee) = $64.99
If they want to add minimum data plan $20/phone which comes to $124.99 is stretching my budget limit. I welcome any suggestions before my phones are received and calling T-Mobile to setup the activation.

[e B a t e s] is giving me the run-around about the $26 cashback per plan. They keep skirting my question. Here is an example:

This is the 3rd message addressing this issue that has not been answered. My question is: "Am I getting a credit of $52, 2 payments of $26 for each 2 year plan from BestBuy?" It has been 8 days, but the reason I ask is because I WAS credited money into my [e B a t e s] account, but it was $3.60 from those purchases at Bestbuy but just for the online purchase price. I feel like I have already gotten my credit for the purchase and it is the incorrect amount. However, if you are saying that the money IS coming, then I will keep waiting.

I called them this morning and they can't even find my order record and told me to wait a few more days for my shipping information e mail. And the BestBuy status still say "Order Status:: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled.|

For me the phone was ordered instore and I signed the service agreement that day, but they did not take any payment from me. I'm still waiting on the phone to come in, but might stop by today BB and see what's up.
I'm hoping that I still get the $100 price as well since they didn't allow me to pay for it that day and I hope there is some record of the phone being $100 since ordered was placed that day/signed agreement.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't not call yet as I am not in a hurry to get the phone (hoping some better deal might come close to Black Friday).
Anyway, when you say another order does it mean only plan or the phone with new rates, do I loose $100 phone deal?
As you suggested, I will give a try for automated helpline to find out that is the case.
