Target Price Matches Amazon
For those of you that didn't know, Target price matches Amazon now. Tested it at a Target today. Worked flawlessly. You can also combine discounts, like the 5% extra from the Red Card. Love it! Gonna be shopping at Target more often now.

|GuavaTooo||I also heard that Target will price match from Amazon right off your phone. I'll be interested to see if this is successful. I'm wondering if it'll be possible to find an associate that is able to handle it... let alone a manager.|

There are enough exclusions and enough variations in employees across the chain to make this very YMMV. Still, it's better than their old policy of not matching anything online, even their own site.
Now, when I'm there, I just scan the things in my cart with amazon's app. Enough of a price difference, and I have them change it. I saved $15 on "Ticket to Ride" (last minute gift) thanks to this policy.
I have Amazon prime and Shoprunner (thanks, SD!) and I'll continue to use those pretty often, but online match in BM stores is nice, especially (and I think this is the key) if you shop at the store already.
The guest service thing is a pain (instead of the register), and so are all the variations in employee knowledge from day to day, I hope they'll work through these things. But I like (and shop at) Target, and getting the best price is a little more doable there now.

|HuBu||Sad that they won't even PM their own Clearance items off their website. I can understand when its another company's CLEARANCE but come on, its their own.|

As for those that love amazon, i have to pay tax and not a prime member (never found enought to buy to cover the 79 dollar cost) so PM at target, is a good thing. After all how many tv, tablets, puters can u buy
