My brother also brought a Patron gift set that was also on sale at Costco. It was 3 small Patron bottles ( Silver, Reposado, Anejo) in a clear carrying case. No problem checking it in at the counter either.

That said.. I'll spring for the $62 half gallon of patron advertised here.. simply because of brand recognition. Generally speaking tequila is used for shots & magaritas in my home. And I imagine a bottle of the $62 Patron for the shots and a bottle of the $17 Kirkland brand for margaritas will get me thru the entire summer!

Two times I have ran across price mistakes for 750ml bottles priced $18-$19 but the price should have been for the 200ml bottles. (One time I posted here but cannot seem to find the thread now)
Watch your CVS ads closely and then price match at Target and Walmart.
Both times I cleared out all of the Wal-Marts and Targets in Kansas CIty.
Note: some states dont sell liquor at these stores.

On that note, there are states that forces the business to sell certain products to the general public even though they are members only business (eg. in California, one can buy alcohol and OTC/prescription drugs at any costco without a costco membership)

Fun fact I learned in Mexico. Patron is made in Mexico and is pretty much only sold in America, with some exceptions. There's a ridiculous markup on it to make it seem like a really good tequila. It's marketed towards Americans as the be all end all of tequila, and they laugh their way to the bank.
This is a good price for it, I can't argue that. When Patron isn't on sale, Don Julio is far superior for the price.
