|The_Linux_Crew||They still have both phones in stock, but slightly different models for a slightly higher price. FYI|

It does nearly everything most people need and does it well. Besides, there are not very many W8 specific apps. Most of what works on W8 works on Mango.

you can get a new 620 for about $220 (i have seen them go for under $200), which comes with wp8, better hardware all around, except for the smaller screen, though some might prefer its size.

Now this is a solidly built phone and the Nokia options are nice. There is a offline GPS that enables you to only download the state you need, Nokia music has a offline music mode but I think Pandora is better despite the offline mode. The camera is good and is good surfing the Net but there is no flash support. Another gripe is there no gift card support for the marketplace unless you use Bing which gets you free points for free money codes.
The price is good but I would say go for a Win 8 phone. It will have longer support and it does support more apps than the older 7.8 models. I got a used 820 and it is great and supports more apps as the background tasks are getting away from legacy code. Visually 7.8 and 8 look the same and Live Tiles are similar to widgets

2) No app lock feature (kids can click and buy apps) in Marketplace
3) No auto rotation control
4) No permanent battery indicator on top bar
5) No apps on lock screen (so you can directly click app icon and unlock + open app)
6) No sound profile app (home, office, outdoor which can control ringtones, volume, brightness, gps, vibration mode etc.)
7) Sort WP marketplace by top apps.. There will be hardly few k reviews (& less) comapred to Android/iOS where you will find lots of apps with more than 100k reviews..
Basically Less than 5% smartphone marketshare = Less apps (free + paid)

|Gigamaster89||I don't think AT&T lets you opt out of data for smartphones.|

Only used this seller once, but shipping was super fast and the Lumia 900 I got looked almost new. I have used on and off since Dec 2012 and it is inferior to most android phones. I vote save your $ for android, BUT it does get the job done for most users that only use email/facebook/text and voice call.
Even used old HTC inc 2 works better than Lumia 900 but looks ugly.I have used it on ATT prepay (net10) and Tmobile and it works fine. I had sis that is ATT account holder to call and get it unlocked. Teathering has worked for me since day 1. TMobile 1900MHZ great when in coverage area.

|Kinglicious||It may not have as large a screen or as good a camera, but for this price a 620 might be worth looking into. The biggest enemy to the lumia 900 is other windows 8 lumia phones.|

|Beezay||If I were to buy the Lumia, and put my dumb-phone SIM in there, would AT&T detect it and force me into a data plan? I had a friend who did that to an iPhone 3GS and AT&T did not charge him data.|
